Just a few weeks ago,we were sitting pretty at 11th in the table, and after 3 games on the bounce loosing by 1 goal were now 16th,with many below with games in hand, what a difference a fortnight can bring?!!,about time the players start taking some of the stick,as cannot be all PT fault?!!.....What i cannot work out is last season champions, this season nothing, with basically the same team as last season!!, ok in addition we signed Cody??,WHATS MADE US A BAD TEAM?

Sadly it is the players. Able to win in League 2, but after a couple of games in League 1 it was obvious that we were not good enough things had to change. Staying up is what it is all about this season, just hold on and enjoy the ride, supporting the Gills at least for the last 20 years has never been boring.

I agree supporting the gills is a real roller coaster ride with more ups and downs than the lift at The Shard. What I don't want is having to rely on other teams results at the last match to guarentee whether we stay up or not.

The majority of teams in div1 and div2 are not that different to us, up and down like a fiddlers elbow. Idb30, the only difference is a division send we just weren't ready for it with the same squad.

Our defence has got to be one of the worse since I have followed the Gills other than Harriman, one reason! I just have no confidence in Taylor it looked like he made a excellent decision by bringing young Hess into midfield and we actually had someone putting his foot in when needed;then inexplicabaly he dropped him! One player doesn't make a team but th midfield looked a lot better with Jake in the team! Taylors constant tinkering will take her obe way down!

Come on, anyone supporting the gills for over 15 years must have known the chances of this happening were very high, As said a real roller coaster, and id still take 20th

We need to stop blaming just the defence. The midfield have made loads of mistakes in front of them and contributed virtually no goals and the forwards have also missed loads of chances. Defence and keeper always the fall guys.

The old saying comes to mind. If you can't win the game, don't lose it.
Too many games this season the team should have picked up a valuable point, but they lost the game instead. The team should be between 4-6 points better off.
Too many changes to the midfield in the last few weeks have contributed to confusion and presure on the back four. Unnecessary substitutions in midfield when the team look like a point is in the bag. Is it really impossible for a player in these positions to actually play for 94 minutes without being to tired to finish the game. Can you imagine any of the 1999-2000 team wanting to be substituted or dropped without any good reason. It dosen't seem to matter who Tayor signs or changes to midfield there is a weakness running right through the centre of the team. I sincerely hope the squad survives in league 1. However, if they do, at least 70% need changing for next season. At least when you take out all the loan players it's a very small squad to deal with.

I think he was on the bench again last week, so hopefully that's where he will stay otherwise he is the type of player to cause us serious issues.

certain members of last seasons championship winning team were not up to playing a higher level and this seasons goals conceded tells you the story, but the gills have pretty much kept the same defence throughout and this is what happens and our midfield is poor to say the least. only our strikers really doing there part.

I think he came on as a late sub, but even if he gets 5 mins our defence will struggle against him.
