Important victory vs Crawley today. Good to see a late goal - and winner - on our side of the ledger for once. Would welcome a match report from someone at the game. UTG

Totally agree this could be a very important 3 points for us.

Left 5 minutes before the end so did not see the goal. Was it a good goal? Also who was awarded MOM as I was struggling to guess who would be selected.

Legge was a deserved MOTM. One of the most boring games I've been to for a while. Glad we got a vital 3 points, but fair to say Crawley deserved something from the game Tuesday will be equally important.

Interesting to see that Birchall got a cameo appearance today, and Borrowdale on the bench. Looking at the line up, i must say i was concerned that the midfield would not work, but hey ho 1-0 home win, takes us over 40 points and 6 clear again. Tuesday is rather important. So come on Mr Cody your due a brace against old club

Looking a little better now, off the six teams below us only Colchester and Crawley can catch us by winning there games in hand, still lots to do though COYG.

Strange game, but a good three points. We lost the game at Bristol when they scored the winner in the 88th.minute. Yesterday we scored the winner in the 88th minute. Is the law of compensation at work here?

Another point in our favour is that from the first of march until the end of the season, Crawley have two games a week, with Colchester not faring much better, = tired legs, increase in likely hood of injuries, not the way we would want to survive, but fact, again thanks to our ground staff for managing to keep our ground playable. (all part of the overall team).

Boring game? Credit too both teams for giving it a good go to win the game! Bold line up by Mr Taylor, even though I would like to see Fagan more central and I have got to say fantastic effort from Myles Weston he is still frustrating at time but could not fault his commitment,Crawley were unlucky but who cares a wins a win! Well done Leon Legge thoroughly deserved man of the match!

Sorry but I did not think Weston played particularly well.... Same old same old. I thought Barrett had a better game though.

Great 3 points and thought all the defence played pretty well, with legge the deserved mom-won everything in the air and for a change his timing was spot on. Weston played better, but his touch still let's him down badly. Sorry as to fagan, can't play there and had an awful game, lost count of the times he left Hewitt exposed due to his inability to tackle and track back. Appreciate not his best position, but unless pt is prepared to play him in his best role then best left out the team. Gregory and Hess did ok as well, watch them closely during the game and covered each other very well. Tbh think Hess has a very good footballing brain, one of a few only in our side, and I think if he carries on like he is now then we have an excellent prospect. Need a result Tuesday, 3 point would be great , but would settle for one. Looked at the next few fixtures and a number of games involving teams at the bottom playing each other as we are, so the odd win could really extend the gap. Finally, I was a bit negative about lee in the week, but got to say he came on and really had a go at their defence and scored again, so can't fault his effort and commitment. Well done him!!

Yes I noticed that Hewitt was exposed on the left and Crawley exploited this without a doubt. Hess is showing signs of being a really good little player just like his dad he really throws himself into the game and is not frightened of tackling any player on the field. Just hope he does not pick up an injury. Thought Cody had a bit of a problem yesterday as he went for the ball in the air unfortunately he will never get these as he is just not tall enough.

I am surprised at the critiscm of Fagan as he always look like he is going to make things happen! As for his neglectfulness on the left hand side all I can say was the manager was bold in deciding to play a 4 2 4 formation that's what you get when you play with fire and take a chance! Luckily yesterday it did! As for Fagan I can clearly see he has had ability at a higher level so I would play him all the time , we need 10pts for safety so we need to get those points as soon as possible!

Aint football great, couldn't disagree with you more terryjolleysboot. Fagan might look like he is going to make things happen, but other than one pass on Saturday he didn't make anything happen; we cant carry players who look like they are going to do something! As to a 4-2-4 (4-4-2) formation, it is every midfielders job to track back and I lost count of the number of times when he/the team lost possession that he just walked back, until it dawned on him that he did in fact have another job, which was to defend and he would then try to close the great big hole he'd left behind him. Unless PT plays him in his supposedly best position I wouldn't even have him on the bench.
