Stuart Nelson is the first player to sign up on a new long term contract at Gills This probably won't be popular but its my opinion. Don't get me wrong Nelson can be a top top keeper and pulls of some worldies BUT, my problem with him is he seems to like guessing where people are going to shoot and going to ground before the ball has been kicked, Look at 2 of Rotherhams goals on Saturday, Nelson dived the wrong way, and dived before the ball was kicked, he does this quite a bit and it really bugs me. I have been a keeper my whole life and obviously im no where near Nelson's level but why guess and dive before the ball has been kicked.

There are a few I would sign, but only based on them being on wages that are realistic (ie low) for the club. Nelson would be one, but I'd add Gregory, Bayo and Fagan to the list. I wouldn't break the bank for any of them and everyone else out of contract can happily move to other clubs in my opinion

Get rid of our defence and just hope Fish is fit and ready! Fagan is a must and should be played down the middle!

Agree hessigod, as long as reasonable contracts all of them. With, dack, Hess, Cody, Barrett (won't break that contract although we should), all signed I think we will be looking to replace the rest. Possibly missed a few as on phone and cznt check, so apologies if I have. Harriman and Hewitt on season long loans would be a great start. Not sure re the borrowdales and mckains and Germans, but again if we won't play let them go to release funds.

Martin was brilliant last year, but struggled this year, Fish was brilliant last year, suffered a horrific injury, what makes you think he will make the grade in league one, I hope he will, but have my doubts.

Martin found his level last year and agree Fish wont be good enough either for Div1, unless he is the first to come back from that injury better..
