Can't see anything on the vale site, so assume his waiting for the boss, his wife, to decide. Innis for a season, if he stayed fit then May be worth it

It's a bit more promising that Vale signed Mansfield's versatile left sided player Colin Daniel yesterday. Some vale fans think he could be a replacement for Loft although he does sound more of a winger.

Still a chance then and would be a good acquisition.

There is also a very good reason for Loft the delay his wife has just given birth. The baby was born about a week ago.So lets hope that that first trip down to see his parents with the new born is/was a really happy event.

Oh god, if the decision rest on a woman who has just had a baby then anything could happen. Having three children myself with two ex wife's then it could go from wanting to move near her family one minute, to being happy and contented and not wanting to move after baby is born. Anything could happen, I don't think there is a man alive who could predict the outcome. Could depend a lot on the mother-in--laws influence, let's hope she wants her daughter in kent.

There is also the ambition of the two clubs. Port Vale finished comfortably higher than us last season so they would, on past form, be the club closer to challenging for a play off spot if Adams can strengthen with a couple of quality players. On the other hand, we only have 2 decent players with the rest non-league standard . There is still the issue of whether or not Loft would want to bring up his children in the north or south of the country - especially if his wider family is from the south. When you have two kids, having grandma local to babysit once in a while might be a big thing.
