Yes your correct swanleygill and they are playing like relegation fodder at the moment . Gills are now 3 ahead through Antonio German (second in two games)

I am assuming then they stayed up because Maidstone were refused entry due to their pitch. German ehh, 2 in 2, Could PT be the man to turn him around, when i think we had all written him off.

Full Time: Dartford 0 v Gills 4 (Dickenson scores with almost last kick of game - Good victory but poor opposition - still you can only beat what's in front of you!

Think Dartford retained their conference premier status following relegation after Salisbury were thrown out for financial reasons

Dartford and another reinstated due to I think Salisbury and Hereford failing to meet financial obligations

It should be made clear Maidstone Utd failed in a bid to get in conference south. So they are still in the ryman premier. So they are still two leagues below Darts and four below us if it matters.

Dartford were extremely lucky to stay up after being re- instated. Based on that performance, it'll be a stay of execution for 1 season.
As poor as Dartford were, thought we were very good. Loft, McGlashan, Norris and Dickinson we're stand out players but can't think if any who were poor. Maybe our 2nd half centre back pairing wasn't quite as composed and I don't think the trialist left winger is league one but that's about it.

What's the opinion on Borrowdale, is he starting to look as though he would be worth signing ?

Borrowdale good on the ball, good decision making and a decent left foot. Unfortunately he looks like a non league player of old, a bit too big and a bit of a stroller. It all depends, as PT says, on his fitness. The odds are against a player of his age regaining fitness after so long away from the full time game but we are giving him a chance. It's frustrating because I do think he looks potentially a very good player.
I think it's worth us taking punts on players because it's our best hope of getting some value. Mostly that's taking on younger players, who feel they have little chance at their current club, taking on trialists from non league and the like. Borrowdale is a different sort of punt but a worthwhile one nonetheless. He's costing us almost nothing and he must realize that we have offered him a lifeline.

Borrowdale looks class on the ball but short of pace. I'd be worried if he was having to mark, say, McGlashan
