It is always hard to genuinely judge how a team goes into a new season based upon preseason results, especially when playing non-league. If we had beaten all the teams 3-0 then people would be concerned that the team would go into the season overconfident as a result. In the past we've played the Ipswichs of this world pre-season, got a good result but then started badly in the league to the disappointment to the fans (who thought a good performance against a team in the league or two above us meant we could challenge for promotion).
The fact we haven't steamrolled our pre-season opponents doesn't necessarily dampen the team's confidence. If Taylor said before the last match for everyone to go out and enjoy themselves and stop any cobwebs forming in their legs then the lack of winning won't be a problem.
