I'm a season ticket holder so I need to get Newcastle Tickets before Weds.
If I go before the game tomorrow, how bad do you think it will be? Any point in calling first? Don't really want them posted, after a previous attempt to do that saw the tickets arrive 2 days after the game!

I doubt you will get a ticket just before the game they normally only sell match day tickets. If you want to collect a ticket then I would advise ringing and buying a ticket on the phone earlier in the day.

I buy tickets for friends and myself regularly and always have them sent by post. I have brought 4 tickets this morning and they always send out first class. Never had a problem.

Understand once bitten twice shy. I will be interested to see if mine come in the post tomorrow or whether the ticket office is so busy that the post is delayed a couple of days. I had to wait half an hour on the phone before it was my turn.

It's the post thing that bothers me svwhat because I once had tickets arrive 2 days after the game, despite ordering them in plenty of time. I completely get that almost all the time they arrive as expected but for me, once, they didn't.
FWIW club were rubbish, wouldn't re-issue or refund. Thankfully I'd paid by creditcard and the card company got me my money back but it took months and I missed the game which was sold out so I couldn't even buy another batch of tickets. I tell you, I am permanently scarred.

I'm surprised they didn't reissue - the time I lost my ticket en-route they printed out another ticket with "REPRINT" on it and told me if someone else turned up with the original ticket then I would be kicked out of the ground etc (and reading between the lines banned if they could prove I gave the ticket to a friend and claimed to have lost it in order to get in knowing there would be spare seats.....).

Ordered mine on the phone earlier and although 5 min wait it was no problem and I will collect Saturday. Similar issue technical a few years ago when mine didn't arrive and had to go the card route for refund. Did get the tickets three weeks later via Newcastle sorting office and in fact club addressed fine, it was Royal Mail who cocked up and lost.

I have been ordering my tickets by phone for years, and only once had a problem. I contacted the club and they arranged for me to pick up a duplicate on the day of the match.

Did this morning and will be sent by post only cost 75p for online booking. Personally had no issues either, and bought many many tickets over the years?, isn't there an option for postage?,where you can pick special delivery?,ive not used myself, and will probably cost around £7/8,but you wouldn't have to travel to club to pick up!, or a really easy option, pick up from club in there various pick up points?!!..

Hi folks , online tickets ordered yesterday morning arrived this morning :-) 75p booking fee a big saving on petrol for pick up. But there was the option to pick up from ticket office on the day if worried about post. Well done Ticket Office. Can't wait for the game I think a chance of upset on the cards .
