Rather surprised to find no comments on tonight's game, thought we produced a decent performance, although Nouble's goal I thought resulted from poor marking.Or was it some guy called Newbley that scored. During the second half thought we were unlucky with a couple of headed efforts and a cross in front of goal any of which with a little luck could have give us a goal. All in all nothing to be ashamed of in fact a very good effort from the Gills, that with a little more luck could have given us at least a point. Davies played a good game with at least one exceptional tackle, think he is earning a "first choice" place. Despite misgivings prior to the kick off thought the Referee gave a good performance.

Overall the Gills played well yet again but our central attacking positions are a cause for concern .I thought the least we deserved was a draw ! Bradley Dack exceptional yet again!

Wasn't impressed in the first half. Didn't think our ball retention was good enough and didn't create anything. 2nd half we took the game to Coventry and really worried them. Very unlucky not to get a point. At least the lads didn't embarrass us on tele We've got some really good young players. Just about having patience while they blend and in 2/3 years, we'll have a decent side

Reading the report on the OS it seems we gave a very good account of ourselves and from others comments our youngsters stood up to the challenge again which is great news for us all. I'm getting excited about this squad and the way we are trying to play and roll on the next game and a good result.

What a great night at the Ricoh. Our young lads showed plenty of fighting spirit, and were not over awed by the occasion. The noise level was incredibly high from the 27,304 fans throughout the entire game. If there had been a roof on,it would surely been blown off. I think from the football aspect the Gills certainly deserved at least a point from this game.Never the less it bodes well for this young side. A memorable night for all those who attended.

I honestly thought we played very well, we know there was no end product, but for a team who lost we were good, loads to be positive about, one negative for me is whenever we win a throw in the offensive half there doesn't seem to be a plan, our players seem to be taking each other's ground, small negative on a very positive performance, keep it up boys.

I was pleased with the fight the team put up in the second half. It was nice to see the home supporters (who otherwise had a great night) suffering a bit like we normally do as the team tries to hold on to a one goal lead near the end of a match. And did anybody else think we had a good shout for a pen for handball late in the game or did I imagine it.

And will somebody explain to me why I am still described as a "Junior Member" when I shall be 80 next February!! I also thought there was a claim for a penalty, although commentators decried it, but then come next March we will have joint years of 156 between us so perhaps we did imagine it.

Hessigod, :-( 2-3 to three years the good young ones won't be here and I think you know that with tongue heavily placed in cheek.
Was overall a good performance. Central defence solid enough. Personally thought Davies was too narrow and therefore at fault in part for the goal. The thing about Dack is not his excellent running to close down but the fact he does have that eye and ability for the the defence opening pass like last nights one to Cody right at the end and like the ones when he came on v wolves last year home TV game. That bit of difference makes him so import at for us and no. One had the same apart I hope from loft when back.

Add my years and we have a cricket score 262 for three not out.

Add my years and we have a cricket score 262 for three not out. Are you really 106?

. Personally thought Davies was too narrow and therefore at fault in part for the goal. I thought that as well. Taylor must have spoken to him about it at half time because in the second half Davies went wider and Haynes wasn't nearly so effective.
