That news doesn't sound too good. Not sure what the injury is, but when they talk about scans and things you can expect a few weeks! Suppose on the flip side a great chance for Norris and Dickerson.

Looks like I've missed something. Where are they talking about scans and things? Incidentally, who was captain last Friday ?

The only info I've found says that he was to undergo an examination yesterday, nothing more specific. Perhaps a statement may be forthcoming later today, however this seems to be an area where the club are not the best.

While I have been impressed by Luke Norris and feel games like Stevenage show he has what it takes. He also needs more time.If Keds is out for 3-5 weeks as seems most likely given the news we have.I feel it puts too much pressure on Norris for him to lead the line for the next month Cody could play the odd game as the only striker or with a wide player or even German but there is a lack of options. For me if Keds is to miss the next month we simply have to get in another senior striker as cover. There is the loan market and some useful names out of contract(see pfa transfer list) who may be happy to take a short term deal. There is no need to panic over it I and doubtless Taylor will be happy to go with what we have to Oldham. But after that we would need to sort something if Keds is not available.

I've been impressed with the youngsters and feel pt should give them a chance to play alongside Cody. We have Norris, German and Dickerson who can all play as out an out strikers and I would give them a few matches to prove themselves. If it fails then maybe worth trying the loan route.

We probably do need another experienced striker but worth letting dickenson and Norris play with Cody, but German is a lost cause and need to be released to a non league set up where he belongs.

Keds should have this op and get it sorted once and for all, personally I don't think keds is up to league one standard and his recovery time is too slow anyway, I would sell him to Wimbledon or Stevenage , Dickenson or Norris will be handy players for us, but a experienced striker to play with Cody is paramount and that donkey German must pinch himself everyday in the belief he is non a non league player yet, mark my words, it's only a matter of time now,

Keds leads from the front.Having 3-4 local lads in the team also helps the togetherness and team spirit at the club.Charlie Lee and Whelpdale could well be said to be league one players but for us they simply did not cut it at that level. Kedwell gives everything that is a great example for young players.Defenders must hate playing against him. Forget your plan getting rid of Keds this season is simply not going to happen. He is far to valuable to the club at this time.Norris can learn from Kedwell long term he will be a better player than Danny if he takes on board good advise. He needs time to learn his roll is likely to be as a regular sub.At the moment his league career is still at the starting gate. Give Danny support we have had many better forwards down the years but very few have matched Danny's will to win. That's something I hope will rub off on our young players.

I understand what you are saying but there is no way keds is better than bayo, Cody and bayo was a decent combo for us but keds will lead with desire and hardwork but at the end of the day, he is just a workhorse who I strongly believe cannot play with our best player who is Cody. Loft is more influential than keds too, we miss him in midfield for sure,
Fancy a away win today boys and girls .

And Bayo has scored how many in League 2 this season. Never spent enough active time on the pitch to justify his salary, scored too many consolation goals after Kedwell and others had done the spadework and generally condemned our team to a slow build up. Bayo just cannot close defenders down either. Kedwell is far better for our team.

Not going down this road again, surely not!! Looks like we ain't gonna have him playing anyway-perhaps we can do a player exchange Barrett for bayo?
