Sorry I thinking he doing fine. The team at home at least is playing a lot better than last year, the football is more attractive and we have some promising young players .
The only disappointments so far have been Loft, but I thought he was a very good signing, Not playing Hoyte regularly after his first terrific performance. mcglashan not as incisive as I thought he would be. The rest has been as good or generally better than expected. Martin has been playing better. Especially since Taylor gave up the fashionable 3-5-2 experiment. As for Egan who really spotted him!! Man U could do with him right now .
So after all that it's a stay from me
Simon

Regarding the gates ,I was definately going to go this Saturday but now considering against it ,cost doesn't justify the entertainment sadly I do not think I am on my own regarding this issue! Why get frustrated and peed off for a hour and half whilst I can kick the dog/cat after seeing the result! Go on be a devil go and shout for Gills and leave the poor bloody dog/cat in peace.

We beat a poor Crewe side easily and it was a reasonable performance for a while against Preston, but the Scunthorpe game along with most of the away games ,was diabolical.Taylor's ideas are very limited. The players don't seem fit enough, for a start and I actually think he's assembled quite a good squad, but he seems unable to make them play well together. You get a few glimpses of what they can do sometimes, but to my mind he he keeps them too shackled in a defensive mode. Corners, especially ,all our players are back in our box. Taylor must go and the sooner the better.

Soon forget the good Peterborough win and Yeovil. Not forgetting what I thought was a good effort against premiership Newcastle!?

Have not read all replies but for me, for now, stay, did not want him, i think it showed a lack of ambition appointing him, but, this is his team, now appointed he deserves a fair chance, I would still take 20th come may.

Lose to Crawley and there is no hiding place, let's be honest taylor may be a good coach but he certainly is not a very good manager, his reputation is going down the pan and I for one know from the bottom of my heart taylor will not be here long term. I have lost the respect for him and hope he leaves very soon. Sorry people but it's going to happen soon.
Out, out !!!!!!!!!

Swans I really hope that you are not at the game today.Frankly if anyone really is like you and really seemingly hopeful we will lose today so they can say I told you so.Support the team if not find a team or something else you can support.Driving someone out is not my way and nor is it most peoples.Taylor has taken a punt with some of his signings sure but most will play for other clubs at or above this level. I am not sure how many other of our managers signings you could say that about. We need to back these lads with the same vocal backing you would if it was your son out there.Forget personal feelings about players and managers and give it your all. That way we will all help the club survive this season. If that is not good enough for you.Run and hide until we can live up to your standards.
Our players need everyone behind them. Many lack enough games under there belts but they do have more ability than many sides we have had. Many will have too many doubts about themselves.Any change in manager at this stage will add to those doubts will not help the team at all.Point scoring in a campaign against the manager is not a productive way to spend your day.
If you can't back the team STAY AWAY!!!!

Been to all home games this season and that is how I based my comments. Scunthorpe was awful but not unexpected when the captain loses it with a silly challenge. Today's perfornance will be more telling if we can keep 11 players on the field . I expect us to win and hopefully comfortably .

Nice one sv and ditto. Scunthorpe was due to one thing alone and needs to be parked well away. I hope today we take confidence from Tuesday as all the reports I read and from the rainham end we deserved a draw and against that team we would have all been very content.
