A week or so ago I would have had Hause every time over Legge. But Leon has won me over.Personally I don't think he is ideal when playing 3 centre backs.Maybe Taylor should give Davies another chance when playing 3 and only play Legge or Hause when playing 2.

Made I laugh listening to the second-half match at Valley Parade on Radio Kent when the commentator said "Leon Legge looks very confident on the ball at the back and seems to be showboating followed by Hause has slipped over and Legge has scored an own goal"

legge is a certain starter for me, he is composed on the ball and almost scored with his head again.

The problem with Legge is that he looks good after he's been dropped, then makes a couple of mistakes and is out of the team again. To be honest though, Hause has a mistake in him too. Two John Egans would be good. Wonder if he has a brother?

Legge always plays well after being dropped and will do so for another 6/7 games and will then need to be dropped again to restart the cycle. As to the own goal, that needed clearing with his left foot and once again he has scuffed it. He needs to work on his left foot clearances as whenever he does clear with the incorrect foot he has quite often nearly scored own goals.

I wonder if it would be any good trying Legge up front with Cody. Years ago (I expect Al will remember) a certain Harry Haslem converted a young left back when he was at Tonbridge( I think it was ) into a centre forward who scored loads of goals. His name ...Malcolm McDonald who then went on to play for England. It can be done, and I would think it's worth the risk of a game or two.

On the same theme Olly remember former boss Basil Hayward signing defender Mike Green from Carlisle before successfully switching him to centre-forward and hitting the net fairly regularly

Good luck to Kortney with his home club. He did a good job for us while he was here and I hope that his stay with Gills helped him to get his international recognition.

Real shame he's gone back. Clearly we need to bring cover in before the window shuts

A difficult one with Hause returning unless we can get someone lot better than Legge thrn Legge has to start the next game for me.I would never ask him to start up front but feel he is a very useful player to push up for set plays and late in games. As for where we vo from here we have lost Fish (who appears to have played very well at the weekend according to Portsmouth fansonline anyway.)With Hause on his way it could be Taylor has someone lined up to come in.Just hope the lads stay confident and carry in fighting like they have in the last few games. The whole squad staying focused for the whole season is really important.

Well done and thanks kortney. Good luck back at wolves and hope you get a good run in the side. I think he did very well after a shaky first two games and really had started to grow into the team. Big loss as I think we won't be able to sign any better in the short time available.
