I listened to the game on the radio.I was a bit worried when we gave the penalty away, but thankfully we did get the three points. Disappointed we only moved up one place in the league, but that shows just how competitive this League is. Still a win next Saturday at home will see us climb fiurther away from the dreaded relegation zone. Let's hope a lot of fans come along.

I was there today and was pleasantly surprised with Norris. We were poor first half (Nelson, Legge and Egan kept. Us in it; but midfield tracking was non-existent) but everybody seemed to approach the second half more passionately and with the raised tempo we outclassed our opponents. Norris went from being largely ineffective to looking the complete striker. Second half he simply bullied their defenders; closing them down when they had possession; looking every bit the target man; and demonstrating brilliant movement to frequently lose his marker and finding good positions. To cap it all off, his second was an absolute belter. Hoping we will kick on from here.

Terrific result and I really hope Norris can kick on now. I feared for us when I saw Dickenson and Norris as our likely goal threat, but it just goes to show we have to give these youngsters time to find their feet. Maybe it's time for "we trust in PT" as its getting harder and harder to find a signing that isn't at least improving. On another note, no Kedwell even on the bench and Taylor saying that he needs to get fitter. Norris scoring maybe shows the future

Nice positive posts for a change and making for refreshing reading. That a good run we are on and giving the team, especially the youngsters some real confidence. Glad Norris bagged a brace, a striker scoring for gills - great news!

It's nice winning away. But don't let this result get to our head because we were outplayed for long periods and I'm not convinced we are consistent enough but enjoy the moment.

True, we were outplayed in the first half, but how about giving the manager credit for changing the shape, swansgills?

As long as we do enough this year to keep us in this division I really don't mind.

That's football swans, and how many times over the years have we outplayed opposition and lost. Be happy for a change!

Agreed Muppet. Despite Donny having some chances and spells on top, there was no question who the better team were. We deserved that result 100%.

Watched the goals on youtube and had a couple of comments to make. 1) Defender was goal side of Norris for the first which he slid home. Good for Norris with a forceful strike and excellent timing but defender at fault there. We'll take it though as Norris had to finish and he did. 2) Second goal was great but shots from distance are speculative efforts. There was a player to the right of Norris calling for the ball but he shot on goal and scored. Good when it works but low % usually. Again, we'll take it. 3) Bit of agro in the goal mouth after Nelson held the ball post-penalty. Any cards dished out there? They were pulling at him in desperation to get the ball. 4) In a minute long clip it's impossible to make a judgment but the players seemed genuinely fired up with the goals and showed a good attitude to each other. Teamwork - that's what it is all about. COYG

COYG Thought that was quite funny (although I'd have been yelling at him if it had been the other way around). The expression on his face was saying "Oh, you want the ball? Sorry, it's here somewhere". I think he got booked but I think it's called "taking one for the team".

From what I saw on the TV he got a yellow, but so be it. As to the penalty, looked a very poor decision with player taking a dive?

You get booked for time wasting, and the ref just adds the time on. The only way to waste time is to retain possession,''if you've got the ball they can't score''. Apart from that a good win.
