Does anyone think the new boss will be announced on Monday or sometime next week I think it's important to get somebody is quickly but the right person. Let me get this right not only have you narrowed the choice to the Notts County manager almost nobody else will do you want him by the end of the week at the latest. Not sure Notts County will just let you take him even if he wanted to come.As your name is Swansea I take it you are of Welsh origin.I know Wales is thought to be the land of King Arthur but even the mighty Arthur took more than a week to get his knights together.Dream on.A caretaker replacement for Hess if he is leaving maybe. But the new man in place within days when we know Scally was out of the country at the time of the sacking. Not a chance.

I was born in Barking. London essex border.but brought up in Wigmore, parkwood and.rainham area. Lived. In Wales for the last 19 years but try to get to as many games as possible. When to the.colchester, Bristol City and I'm stoke now.as I send this message and will be going to bristol this Tuesday too. Derry would have been great for.us but Dennis wise would suffice.

For once, 888 is right that we need a quick appointment. I'd assume that the speed of the appointment will depend on whether scally actually does have anyone or a shortlist in mind, along with whether or not he is currently in the country. With the window about to open, we can't afford to spend the month procrastinating. Its one of the reasons that the timing of the sacking was so poor

Agree Hess time is so important here, especially as the window is open, but also agree stato unless somebody else was lined up then it ain't going be a few days and from past appointments by ps they are never immediate and for the right reasons I hasten to add. Does that then confirm no money for additions?!

Can't see an important until end of next week at earliest, unless it is wise and was already warmed up to idea. Anyone else too much interviewing and negotiating to,do

You really rate wise, omg, says it all. Or is it his glittering recent managerial career that does it for you.

Real shot in the dark here but what about 33 year old Alex Neil of Hamilton Accy promotion and around 4th in the Premier league now. This lad is a fighter in centre midfield.Alright the Scottish league isn't great but we are talking Hamilton here. For the record he has a 12 month rolling contract.

Does that then confirm no money for additions?! As a conspiracy theory, maybe PT was sacked to disguise a lack of investment in the playing team in Jaanuary? If we don't appoint anyone, we can't make signings?

Which leads us to Hess remaining in that position for a while ...
