I really can't vouch for the source. It's someone who "knows" PT but I've never got to the bottom of exactly how well he knows him. Some of the stuff he passes on has turned out to be true, some has been complete rubbish. So, on that basis, should I share or keep it to myself?
I'll go with the majority.

Was it the story that was about yesterday where it was said that it was about nelson and Cody complaining to Scally about the tactics that Taylor was using and they didn't like playing 5 at the back which resulted in Scally phoning Taylor and Taylor saying he wouldn't change and give in to player power?

It's just another unsubstantiated rumour then, the sort that this forum is full of. Do what you want. It's hardly Watergate, is it.

Well I'm not one to gossip.....
Apparently it wasn't the players who didn't like the formation but Hess and for this and other reasons PT told PS it was time for Hess to move on. PS is committed to Hess so PT had to go.
If true it would seem a completely changed backroom team is unlikely.

God i hope that is un true, i think hess snr being so close to the first team is affecting hess jnr, he is not the same player this year to last year, I hope PS has some professionalism and is not mates helping mates all the time, no way to run a business, especially when tried and failed already. In my head i had the phone call going more something like this PT, Hi Paul, so how much £ have i got to spend in the jan window. PS, To be honest PT none, i thought the current crop you have would be doing better than they are. PT, Are you serious, this is a tough tough league, look to be honest i can earn more as a scout working for palace or WBA. P.S O.K then well fu*k off, see ya. As we all know PS expects something for nothing, we are currently saving 5-10k a week on players/manager released, we need to be so so so so thankful to ebbslfleet/southend for taking players, as all were under contract and could have stayed, even if playing in the youth team.

I hope that's not true as Hess snr needs to go, we need a complete change. Director of football, again then! Agree swanley, thanks ebbsfleet and Southend, you may well have saved our season.

I think Ebbsfleet must have been a tad disappointed with their result yesterday...at least Keds got them a consulation goal..

Also hope that's not the case, but nothing would surprise me in football.
Have a mate who is an Ebbsfleet fan. Said Keds looks out of shape, even at their level

I believe judging from the date and Scally's words it was a argument that started about funds. When Scally said he was sure he could trust him not to bring in another defender Taylor blew his top. Scally has hinted that he hated the 5 at the back thing it was clearly not putting bums on seats Taylor departure was down to his tactics that one way or another.Sorry the rest of these stories of Player or Hess power is tosh.If Hess had power he would be running the team.

I don't know Stato, Hess has had three attempts at running the team now, 2 more than he should have IMO and young Hess seems to get a place regardless of how bad his form is. a penny pinching chairman has invented roles to give him a job. Hess does seem to have significant influence, if not actual power.
Anyway, I've no idea, but i thought there was a little ring of truth to it. Lots of reasons Hess should go imo

This story and analysis falls over under fairly light scrutiny. Hess and PT are close friends of long standing and have worked together at several different clubs. Very unlikely that they would have had such a falling out at all. Even more unlikely that Hess would have dobbed PT in to Scally. If Scally was looking for the inside track on PT's performance he would be ill advised to go to Hess. He's quite smart enough to know that there would be others within the club with the knowledge and a more impartial stance.
