I just feel the Penalty against Coventry could be the turning point in our season, 3 -1 Gills today! I would start with the same team unless we could ensure Loft would have a good game in Pritchards role from last Saturday and the I would start with Mcglashan!

McGlasham is good to sub to replace tired legs.

I'm going for 2.1 and I agree that McGlashan seems to have more of an impact if he comes on later. Definitely worked against Coventry. I also think that Loft has been a big disappointment this year and that a spell on the bench might be the way of telling him this, captain or not.

Loft to me has been a major disappointment he certainly has not been a good leader! I would hand the Captaincy to Cody! I would favour the same starting x1 as last Saturday!

McGlasham is good to sub to replace tired legs. We scored 2 minutes after he came on. Coincidence?

He ignited things again. Only did anything for about 5 mins before fading, but made a difference. Certainly wouldn't start him. He's a John Hodge impact sub

Interesting that in the first 20 minutes we only attacked twice and scored a goal both times. Bit worried then as most of the play was up Oldham end. Delighted that we won pushed us up the table . Thought Nelson had a poor game as did young Hess. The referee was appalling will go in my book as one of the worst ones.

Ok Hess, you must be one of the guys that sits by me as he said the sample thing, after we talked about hodge at half time. Agree jan, Nelson looks low in confidence ATM and has had an attack of the jim stannards - his kicking has got awful! We reckon Hess got subbed only cos his old man wasn't in the dug out at the time, or we just couldn't see him! Loft better playing in the middle. If we had lost the game, dack would have to have been strangled for that pathetic effort for the penalty, they are the individual errors that we have to stop. As to the ref, words not suitable for this forum can only sum up his performance!

Pleased with the win yet another post Taylor entertaining game, 15 goals at Priestfield since Taylors departed!
We are still crying out for a strong midfielder and central defender but wasn't Marquis impressive! Up the Gills!!

The ref was poor but some of it went in our favour, I thought Dack was lucky to still be on the field by the time he scored. I wouldn't have been at all surprised to see him at least booked for that ridiculous penalty he gave away and what was he thinking for the booking he did get?
A good game though. McGlashan did ignite things but I haven't seen anything that suggests he should be given 90 mins, as hessisgod says, he brings few minutes impact. I also think he needs to run towards the RE, doesn't do much going the other way, yes, just like John Hodge!
I though Loft was better again today, as he was once in his correct position last week.
Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Leaves a bit of a quandary over what to do about the management though...Anyone know who is actually in charge? As Muppet said, I don't think Hess was in the dugout for the 2nd half and it doesn't feel like Hess' football to me.

Oldham played a really dirty game today and there was a lot of cheating going on......

Thoroughly enjoyed the result, but for the life of me can not understand what the devil transpired to allow them there equalizer. Good to see back to back home wins but still some work to be done.
