Agree swanley, whilst two good and deserved wins they were both poor sides. To ensure survival we need. To keep the likes of Ehmer and marquis and add another striker, left back and midfield marshall, if we had these then the fab 4 may see us through to safety.

It is a funny old game where we can go 8 games in November and December without a loss and then have 5 games under the "Gang of Four" with 3 losses and 2 wins and they are held to be the answer to all our problems.

Exactly which I why I wish that PT had been left in charge until the end of the season and if there was a decision to be made then that was the time to make it. It is possible of course that PT put himself in position to be sacked. Still onwards and upwards PT has gone we have the 4 amigos and shortly we should have a new Manager. If all goes according the PS then we should have a new Manager in place within the next two weeks.

Jan please are you trying to upset me , I have been throughly entertained in the last three games and I cannot think of any games under Taylor that Gills entertained me!

How many potential appointments will be put off by the fact that they won't be able to bring any of their own staff in, do you think?

Do we know that to be the case Mistert? Someone on here said Hess has been offered a board position , although i haven't read that anywhere else and presumably the others would go back to their day jobs, which leaves manager and assistant to fill at least.

I don't know it. I was just wondering if there was room for any more back room staff.

You're right but if history repeats Hess will be minister without portfolio just to find him a job and the others will either leave or go back to roles where they have little to do with the first team.
Have to say, it has surprised me to discover just how many backroom staff we had

Your right swanley after 5 defeats under the new managment team, the team were looking lost of confidence so we needed a change to bring something different but after 2 wins why would you bring someone in now when no one at all jumps off the page of candidates to replace the new managment team. I also believe Taylor to the end of the season was the best option as that's a better time to get a new manager in.

You certainly watch a different game to me that's why you are a P T fan and I'm not! Hoyte played well yesterday and it was the German Ehmer who was dodgy in defence, extremely slow on the ball, talk about differing opinions!!! Your slow is my composed. I think Ehmer and Egan are forming a decent partnership. Just need more protection. Both are a huge upgrade on Legge or for that matter, Barrett

I would hope our new manager when appointed will bring a good experienced defender if available to play alongside Egan!

There a real problem to find TJB, we were very fortunate with Egan and if we found another like him then we will be the luckiest team around.

Would that be the EganPT signed TB ;-)
I like Ehmer too. Reminds me of Barry Ashby. Nothing fancy but does what's necessary .

Watch the way he covered for John Egan a couple of times Saturday when Egan got caught out. Those two are building a very good partnership. It's no coincidence Legge has been left out again in favour of Eganbut another management team
