I reckon that's the last we'll see of Garmston if its his hamstring. That's usually at least for or five weeks and he'll be back at west brom then

Says on the site a couple of weeks, but I'm with you ollybeak usually around 4 weeks. Shame as started to show more of what he was capable of.

Not if he'd have crawled back onto it, surely? Was anyone else at the game when the opposition were awarded a penalty and they quickly got the substitute changed and brought on so he could take it? Like some other posters on this site I can't remember anything useful like the year or the opposition, only that we were at home. You have got me thinking misert try Gills v Blackpool 8th March 1986 , I know the game ended 2-2 as did the match you recalled!

I take my hat off to you. That sounds about right. Good memory. Losing out to a dubious equaliser?! Not much changes, does it.

On the bright side, chicksen will only be at Fleetwood for a month so we may be able to get him back if Garmston goes

Heard a funny story regarding Garmston this morning - one of the cleaners who knows my sister said that the manager of the hotel had to have a word with him because he put dribbling cones the length of the corridor outside his room he would dribble with two balls the length of the corridor and then run back with keep me ups -this was after his training at gills in the afternoon - he got one of the cleaners to time his runs - the manger said it was ok but he couldn't get the cleaners trolleys down the corridor to clean the rooms rherefore people were struggling to check in ! because his equipment was blocking the corridors - now that's dedication. !

Also he told the cleaner that he thought the gills were a brilliant club and had a fanatic fan base and he felt really privalegded to be playing here the management had also been unbelievable

Cracking story Evo, seems his dedication is second to none. Or, has he fooled everybody and was drunk at the time...

Sad news wish him well on his recovery. On the plus side Joe Martin played really well at Swindon it will be up to him if he grabs the chance to keep the place in the side. While the loss of Garmston meant we had less width at times.Having Joe at the back saw more chance for our midfielders to get forward.Loft and Hess seem to benefit most on the night.

Yeah I echo all your sentiments, sounds like a really nasty one if out for c10 weeks. Good news re Martin though, hopefully he can continue with further impressive displays - the rest may have done him good
