Well a few months ago I dare say that was all we could hope for, but I for one am a bit miffed we aren't in with a shout of the playoffs. I don't think promotion would be right at the moment, but it would have been fun to try. Now looks like we will drift to the end of the season, mid table obscurity...how hard to please am I eh? No pleasing some folks. Is anyone one else as ungrateful as me

A trip to Wembley would have been fun so would the returns on a 40-1 bet I had that we would reach the playoffs. Mind you I only bet a fiver...

Yep I'm with you dipsticky, I got the smell of the play offs and now disappointed we will miss them, but in reality as long as we avoid relegation then I should be and will be happy at the end of the season.

The truth is we have taken a massive step forward this season. Most of the last few years we have been treading water. Even when we have had a good season we have needed a clear out.Almost everyone that is in contract next season is worth keeping. Some of those who's deal run out will move on.But we have laid a platform this season that we can build on.The second half of the season players have really done well.I was told by a insider that the camp is happier than it has been in years.Am I happy with where we are now?Delighted as I have said it may take time but building a young hungry team can bring success with the right coaches. And a bit of patients from us all.
