Cheers I- blue, very close results wise over the years and can't see that changing today. Going need to be at our best to beat them I think.

I'm a bit torn with this one. Obviously we need to stay up and I love to see Gills win, but it doesn't do us any favours if Colchester go down. We need a few local games. I'm looking for Southend, Wycombe and Stevenage to come up, that way we won't miss Orient and Colchester too much! Then of course there's Millwall to come down.... Ok we can beat Colchester today

We are playing a team in a desperate league position. They have signed three on loan players in the last week.Gills must win today to keep hopes alive for a Play-Off spot. I ,for one, think they can still do it.

Agreed. We don't want two losses in a row. Sorry Colchester but I'm after a comfortable win against a relegation-threatened team. 2.0, I reckon.

To Technical's point on local rivalries, can you imagine Bournemouth being a Premier League club next season? If only Portsmouth had still been there and Brighton had moved up. It would be great to contemplate 4 EPL teams in about 100 miles of coastline. Could happen one of these days... Result today not a big surprise though it took a late equalizer to get another point nearer certain safety. UTG

The swear the referees are getting worse also the pitch looked wet to me and the players slipping about rather a lot. I thought the new turf laid last year was to improve drainage? Or are they watering too much.

The pitch generally has been in very poor condition for a few weeks now IMO, worse than last year. I wouldn't have thought the weather's been too hard on it this year either. Yes, it was very wet, with standing water to the Gordon Road side of the Rainham End. Was there a major rain storm I slept through last night?

We had the same discussion today technical and agree the pitch has been a step backwards and nowhere near as good as last years. I dread to think what it would have been like if we would have had snow and bad frosts.
