Why oh why is our chairman about as professional as katie prices left boob, it could have been ipswich playing plymouth, then you would have something to moan about, and its the crapital cup 1st round, so who really cares about attendance etc... has PS ever heard the term 'you can't please all of the people all of the time'

I agree Swanleygill, PS does have a habit of embarrassing himself and the club but he's not wrong on this one.

im not saying he is wrong, but come on, to publish the email sent on the clubs official site is ridiculous and amateur

Totally agree with PS and really feel it could have been decided on a much more regional basis, especially at round 1. Would at least swell the crowds on that basis. As to publishing the mail, may look a little amateur, but not sure how else he is to prove he has at least questioned those old farts at the FA(?) who definitely wouldn't make any comments common knowledge that may make them look bad. Sorry agree with PS on this occasion.

Seems whatever our chairman says or does, some fans will find fault.

It's not particularly well written and if i was going to publish it i might have paid a bit more attention (got some help!) there but an open letter is a well established communication tool, typically used to do exactly what Muppet describes - often by very senior, well respected and qualified people in their field.

I totally agree with PS and like a chairman who stands up for his club and supporters. Perhaps the powers that be will remember in future that it's the fans who keep the game going.

Pity our charismatic chairman didn't bother to raise this matter at the recent Footbal League annual chairman's meeting in Portugal as according to Barry Fry at the Posh he didn't show up!

Why was the Football League having it's meeting in Portugal?
