Cheers i-blue, seems from the reports that they deserved it and we lacked a little up front. JPT next then!

I think Edinburgh made too many changes tonight, he should have stuck with a winning combination from the start, I left the ground disappointed that we did not even look like winning and Williamson is proving to be fringe player at best. I totally convinced there are far better players than jake hess about, josh wright is very good on the ball and has excellent distribution, he brings a calmness to the build up play. Rant over.
bring on Saturday, please.

Easy to blame the side picked. But many would have been expecting to be 1st choice before the season started this was a chance to make a mark. No doubt there will be other chances for them. I am sure we gave it a go. Had Dack and Egan played 90 minutes then looked tired at the weekend we would be asking why we did no give them e break in the cup.

Almost looked like he was saving some players for Saturday?

I was disappointed with the team too, although agree some of them would have been in my first team before the start of the season.
I'm sure JE will have his (good) reasons, but IMO this was a winnable game with the momentum of current form behind us and there's something wrong if they need resting at this stage in the season.

This team have given everything on Saturday frankly I found it hard to walk in that heat. While I share your disappointment I can totally understand why some of the team who played Wigan may have needed a rest. We have had some incredible performances in the last few weeks full of total commitment. We got undone last night by a championship outfit. No shame in that. I am sure JED has learned a bit. Cody has started his recovery. Ehmer Garmston and mcglashan have some valuable game time. Chill out.

Agree with the last three comments,if JE had fielded the same eleven that started against Wigan and then lost our league form he would have been slated for that. Valueable experience gained, no disgrace on the side, more power to the elbow, onwards and upwards COYG

We have a squad for a reason and if we don't change the team occasionally what happens when we need these players and they have no match fitness.
