I don't know if Dack's unhappy atm but any player who feels he's being denied opportunity is likely to become so, which is why we often haven't been able to hold on to players. Once they want to go, their form (and their price if we leave it too long) drops

Really odd one this.Seems I was wrong about Bristol City's bid. But maybe we have to ask why? Why make a bid or 3 when you have no manager. Has their chairman gone power mad? Is there someone already lined up to take over on condition they sign Bradley first. Or most likely is the Chairman just trying to get in better applicant's for the mangers job by making clear he has the funds to help keep them up.In which case it may not even be a genuine attempt to sign Dack at all.

Stato come on, are you for real, They are a club in the Championship, with ground renovations going on i seriously doubt they need to 'fake' a bid to attract a better applicant of manager

Can't imagine Bradley being desperate to go to BC anyway. Wonder who the next bid will come from?

Agree Jan, whilst his salary may no doubt be higher I reckon he thinks he can do better than that and if he has real ambition why would he want to move to a club that is possibly coming straight back down. He will go, if the price is right for the club, but only if he sees it as a step up to a good championship side or possibly a Premiership club willing to take a punt on him, a few million to them is nowt. Lots of mileage in this one still I think!!

I have no inside knowledge. But the fact that they have got the manager of Bristol City wrong shows that the daily mail have no more information than I do. Less I think statoblue

Because they see him as a good young talent, which he is, but yes i agree re why would he want to go there considering we could be promoted and they could be relegated. i don't think us or the club should be worried about any bids from brizzle city as its not very tempting, unless they bid 3 million, but it does not stop them trying.

All poppycock, does the football club need to sell?....i think not!, IF and i hasten the term IF we reach championship we need a Dack in the side, and to have excepted a palsy 2/3M would be crazy right now. He could be sold come May,and lets face it, only IF the kid wants a move elsewhere, he can always decline any move, worth remembering that. Importantly we need 3 points this weekend, come on you GILLS!!.

Cheers mark, good to read that some BC fans still Believe they are a big club. Wrong century lads!!! Some are very bitter also! Didn't they get freeman via Arsenal from us, ungrateful stards!! Not sure you have to agree a fee for a player to talk to a new club, just agree he can do so and on that basis gills would have been very fair to the player. Still believe not a good move for him, div1 football next season with them is no step forward.

What makes me wonder is we are 2/3rds of the way through the transfer window and this is the only bid we have received. What have club scouts seen that a lot of our fans have not? Do they think he is not good enough to step up one or two divisions, or do they want to give him more time to prove himself?
