Play offs can't be done now Lets put this season to bed and go again next year, finishing 7-8th I would have taken back in August, yes the manner of the demise has been hard, but since when has supporting Gillingham ever been easy lol We need to remember that a season is 46 games and consistency is key, not 30 games then collapse. Shame to probably see the likes of Dack, Egan go, but lets hope some quality replacements can be brought in. Up the gills (next year obviously)

Wrong, wrong, wrong ! Last minute equaliser by Colchester means if we beat Millwall and Barnsley fail to win at Wigan and Scunthorpe fail to win at Sheffield United, we would be in the play offs !!!

We are in some serious trouble next season I can't see us staying up. We will lose our best players and those who were on loan so we will be needing a whole new squad. I predicted us to miss out on the play offs when we was top of the league and now I am also predicting a relagation battle next season.

Pretty incredible, also was cursing as the second Burton goal went in and news of Colchester behind with goalie stretched off and down to ten players. Can't say much of any celebration from Colchester players other than the goal, scorer.

well, that was embarrassing although glad I was wrong, I hate going in to games counting on other teams to do us a favour though, even if we beat millwall it may not be enough, frustrating.

Colchester have had a terrible season (although we made them look good at their place) but they've really tried to help us out with in the closing weeks. Draws against Millwall and Wigan , beating Coventry and Bradford. We kept throwing it back in their face :-D
Whatever happens, last game is going to be exciting (Tense?). Glad I won't be policing it.
I still say it's been a good season. Ive mostly enjoyed the football and we've had something to play for right till the end. I think we're set up beautifully to do it again next season, if we do lose players, we'll have cash.
We're a 3Rd/4th division club. Have been for 100+ years. We've been flying high this season, if you really want/expect Championship football I'm afraid you're following the wrong team.

It was a good first half of the season the second half of the season looks like being one of the worst I can remember unless results go our way next Saturday! To me Scunthorpe are the favourites for the final place in the playoffs and they are the best team I've seen at Gills all season! I have to say only in a few matches have I enjoyed the football Sheff U ,Bury and a great effort against Barnsley at home the rest of the Gills performances have been mediocre! As for next season if we happen to remain in this division it is more likely a relegation battle without Dack and Egan in the team! Major plus for next weekend is that Cody has found his shooting boots major minus Nelson is doing Gary Sprake impressions in goal! At least next weekends match has now something on it and I feel better than I did when I heard Burton had scored their 90th minute winner at the time it was like the 1999 playoff final again and watching Gills lose 6-0 at Aldershot combined,I was just waiting for my misses to say its only a game to add to my woe!

I keep reading about the loss of Dack and Egan will really affect us ? well Im not convinced with suitable replacements it will. Dack has largely been anonymous since he came back and Egan has cost us goals. We had five clean sheet s out of six when both were out . My main issue is the midfield and strike force. I watched Dack closely yesterday and against Shrewsbury and Rochdale and he has been a passenger IMO. IM not decrying the fact that he is a wonderful player when on top form and will continue to go on and do well and has been brilliant for us in the early and mid season. But i think we are all swept along with how brilliant he is each and every game and there are games when hes hardly done anything right. so How bad will we be without him ? Will JED invest in a classy goalscoring midfielder ?
