A table based on away form only would see us in 10th place - on the flip side on home form only we are 20th ,- which was a similar problem last season - just ordinary home form would see us in and around the play offs - why is it so hard to win at home...?

It’s going to be critical as 4 home games are left and 3 look distinctly winnable vs Rochdale, Shrewsbury and Plymouth. I hope we can get a draw vs Charlton. That 10 points will give us 57 and should make us safe. I am expecting no points away from Peterborough, Bradford or Blackpool. The current bottom 4 would have to find 15 or 16 points or more to reach 57. Especially important to beat those below us so Bradford away would be good to win or draw. COYG

Away from home we play on decent pitches and our style of play suits counter attacking.
At home we start too slowly and don't score enough goals.
That is my simplistic reasoning for the issue raised by bsoby

Because we don’t have the talent in midfield to break teams down. Away we can play on the counter

Agree with Hess, although better of late with the loanees. Previous to that I lay the issue with SL, who was unable to make changes on the day. It was as if he had trained all week to expect how the opposition play, they didn’t and he then was not prepared to change.
