The club have released a new interview with the man, the myth, the legend, Paul Damien Phillip Scally. youtu.be/ISpidaxi8D0I’ve not had a chance to watch the whole thing yet, but it sounds like they’re going to be a regular occurrence. Better communication with the fans can only be a good thing, especially as this is an area where the club has struggled with this in the past.

Some useful bits of info in here: - bigger budget than last year but to be spent on less players - too many not contributing - the accounts issue has already been explained to companies House and there's no issue with them - the factory is being redone - he only heard about the transfer embargo through the media. That's terrible from the league
Hope these continue.

I wonder whether it was a leak from someone with an axe to grind, rather than a official release by the league.

Somebody with an axe to grind.
Nothing new with Scally.
Watched the video but not convinced he knows the direction under him.
Take it with a pinch of salt !!!

Yes indeed, the legend of the good ship Gillingham ( note ;def of legend, something that is widely believed whilst being substantially untrue). As it sets sail, with Captain Wall-Eye standing proudly at the helm, his faithful acolytes the Gullible Brothers are standing by his side and all is well. "Don't worry boys" he says, a twinkle in his eye and a squint in the other "I've got a bigger budget and a new-found love for the fans" "What about more crew Cap'n ?" the brothers ask ... "Oh yes we'll pick them up along the way" replies the salty old sea-dog. "How do we know all this to be true?" the querulous pair, known for their love of evidence, ask. "Why me hearties, because I say so" retorts the Cap'n, 'would I lie ?"
Fact check The Accounts have NOT, as claimed in the video , been filed at Companies house and can't be until they have been audited. Never mind we don't want to ruin a good fairy story.

Fact Check: As usual, Summerwell pretends he's all knowing and really clever, whilst getting something absolutely wrong. At no point does the chairman state that the accounts have been filed at companies house. If you're going to come on here and take the pi$$ with your pathetic attempts at bullying and name calling, at least make sure you get your own statements right. Just like on the other thread, you'll ignore this question - because you know you don't have an answer and hate being shown up as the intellectual minnow you really are

He says, categoriaclly, no problem with companies house, the accounts are there, only with the FA. You ,of course, endorse this with 'there is no problem there ' Keep digging Stevo.

He categorically does not say that. "Whilst we haven't got an issue with companies house because of filing accounts." They are his exact words. At no point does he say that he has filed accounts with companies house. You can apologise when ready - otherwise everyone will know you're just full of sh!t

Scally 'Our accounts were finished months ago...we haven't got an issue with companies house'
Reality, no they weren't, accounts are not 'finished' until signed off and 'yes you have' because you are late filing for the second time in a matter of a few years.
You, me and Scally, Stevo. I think it is pretty clear which of us is 'full of shite',to use yet another of your delightful abusive phrase which confirm your status as the board's biggest hypocrite, To defend a serial liar by accusing someone else of that tendency is rich indeed.
Whet we can be sure of now is that this year's playing numbers will be reduced but within a larger overall budget, according to the ship's Captain. Tidier drinking areas or more players - yep that's tough old choice for a football club
