Today's game is a real chance for us to get right back in the play-off picture.
We are unconvincing in terms of form and the teams around us are playing each other.
Hope we can sneak tight 1-0 win.

Away form is awful but we have to win 5 from 7 to have a chance. I think we’ll draw 1-1

Awful conditions, but three great points. Thought the dreadful mistakes of Ogie and Clarke would cost us, but very pleased that we kept going. Big shout out for the fans and safe journey home.

Got to give credit to Clemence for using his subs and attacking the game. We were second best for quite a bit and yes they’re horridly out of form, but that’s a really good away win. Probably not enough with Crawley winning but Good Friday is a massive game.

Pretty poor performance against a poor side, but I'll take the poor goalkeeping and deflection and a good 3 points

Some of you being a bit harsh - when Hawkins finally gets in the right position AND hits the target ( yes, I know it was harder to miss than score), when we twice come from being a goal down and when we see the worst piece of home town refereeing not being decisive, then its' a good time to pay a few compliments. As always, well done the travelling army, well done the goalscorers for trying their luck and well done to SC and the team for not losing their collective rag.

Appalling bottle crashing referee, appalling defending by us which I don't understand but we score 3 to get ourselves out of it and still hanging on. Looks a bit clearer with Crawleys games in hand that it could well be them but they could crash and their games in hand are not easy, one is Wrexham. I did have a cheeky one on Crawley as outside for promotion, may yet happen. I had the chance to test your opinion of Hawkins SW and you re right in much of what you say. Very one dimensional, very slow, not mobile and shocking when homing in on goal, loses the ball too easily. But he's good in the air and he scored. We need to have better though.

Great to get the 3 points. Good spirit shown after going behind.
Some really poor goals at both ends. All 3 of ours are from mistakes (2 from their keeper). Their second. My God, Max Clark with an appalling example of my pet hate - not using your weaker foot. How on earth do you get to league 2 without being able to hoof it clear with your other foot?

Think that's right re max, prob why Evans deemed him not good enough for league one. Though to be fair, I think he was left in an awkward shape to get it out of his feet. I'm also not impressed with our full backs still allowing crosses in because they re not tight enough and afraid of getting skinned. That was a cardinal sin back in the day, Wiltshire used to do it, which us why he went, shocking, shocking.

Yeah don't know Gary as Cassandra said! It was Dave, maybe before your time Stevo, nice bloke but he would let crosses in! I remember when he went to Aldershot for some reason and I remember their bench screaming at him to go tight, and I thought, well you should have worked out that he does that before you took him! He would basically escort the winger to the byline then move out the way so he could cross it, I could never work him out.

I never forget going to the 74-75 end of season open day. Some supporter shouting out hey Wiltshire can I have your autograph.Clearly understandably miffed he said please call me Dave... Open day, photos, autographs and he's talking to the girls about his telephone number! Wide boy! Those days were good, where are they now? Watching the players training and doing different games, total access to the players but I remember Keith Lindsay by the old gate near the old social club trying to make a getaway! Think it was Graham Knight giving him a lift. He'd had enough, 'no I've gotta go now lads!' Do you remember Pertwee opening the yearly fete? He rode up in his sports car with his dog and my mate asked him how much they rushed him for it. Pertwee was saying we'll it was under 4! Nice chap though doing the throwing sponges game. They were good days.
