What does ‘but contrare’ mean?
If the centre forward puts it over the bar from a foot out is that the fault of the coach? Please explain as I don’t understand.

If the coach moves on 3 strikers and then brings another 3 in and they can’t hit the net, whose fault is that?
If the coach is appointed telling the owners and supporters he knows what changes are needed to get us scoring and then we don’t, whose fault is that?
If the coach makes our defensive record worse and attacking record no better, whose fault is that?

No ones saying the players aren't culpable, of course they are, but it's what they re being allowed to do and the state of their minds and everything else that happens when crap is acceptable. If he's not a good coach, he will go, if he can't kick ass when needed, and it seems he can't, then he ll go. It's the environment you re In, otherwise there's no point in a coach. These good players have not been able to or take on the coaching or can't or won't. It always goes back to the coach, the state of the heads of the players goes back to the coach. These were good players but now they miss from two yards. What's happened to their heads, something has under both Harris and Clem, they can't all be bad though some are, it's a contagious disease. It was also under Evans for a time and for that go further up the chain. The chain was supposed to be better, it isn't, there is a reason, either Brad is fitting into the old negative chain with Scally which is concerning or he's happy about it, even more concerning. The club still stinks. |

Sadly Hess I doubt whether Clem wanted the new forwards, particularly not Walker, another problem.

Matt, you’re not wrong. We didnt get it right. Need change to best arm ourselves for something more exciting, ruthless, and worthy. Off pitch things are better but football is not. @thegillsfc
While he gave the vote of confidence the other week, no mention of Clem now. Changes ahead I would guess by agreeing with the article that succinctly lays some of(not all) the blame at the current coach. The Galinsons will not want deja vu again next year.

BG bought in a boat load of players to save us from relegation, he had a couple of months in the summer to bring in new players and bought in the player just about everyone on here was screaming for, one Mr. Bonne. Are you going to blame BG for him not working out here,if you are then everyone that wrote on here saying how great it was he had been signed needs to kick them selves in the butt.
The problem, we have is not BG, HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH SOCCER,why he bought GFC I do not know,I am guessing it was a Scally Wag deal,somewhere,somehow Scally convinced him to come in and buy the Gills,after all he had lost interest in owning them.
It may take another year to get the Gills sorted out,I don't think Jackett and Hessy need to be here advising BG, I am pretty sure the man is a smart enough to see things have not gone the way they said they would and they will be replaced by Christmas as will Clemence if he is unable will be able to a good job with the new players we bring in over the summer.
Things will change for the better at Gillingham FC. this summer,you wait and see.

There's no such thing as "English Soccer" and I don't recall anyone "screaming" for Bonne, most of us had never heard of him. Despite that you may be right about next year and I certainly hope so.

Our club can only progress properly if BG is surrounded by the right people.
So far the shortcomings have been very obvious to all and that should be the first protocol for BG in making next season an exciting one.
The toxicity surrounding those who need removing ASAP has never been more apparent than now.
Let see what happens !!!!
