I would so love to be there tomorrow, personal circumstances means I cant. Get in there early Kane 89 and shout for me! I wish Clemence all the best and really hope everyone claps him and no one boos, hes a good bloke and he deserves it whatever the final score.

I'm offering either 1-1 or 2-0 to us.

I've got a good feeling about this. 4-1 Gills. A few of the injured players back on the bench. Hopefully Mackenzie back from the start. Change of formation to 442. Wyllie and Nevs up top. Both to score.

I can’t see SC getting a bad reception, given more time I think he would have come good for us, having said that I am happy we have Bonner at the wheel. I agree with MM I am expecting a rather comfortable Gills win, no doubt Barrow have had a good start but they haven’t yet been tested against many teams that I feel will be chasing promotion come the end of the season. I’ll be there tomorrow, gutted you couldn’t make it Unc (Donut), but we’ll catch another at a later date UTG!!

Clemence was rubbish for us, but he’s not a villain. Hopefully we do the business.

At a wedding today, so a mate and his family have our tickets. Clem wasn't a gills manager, doesn't make him a bad manager and he certainly seems a good guy, so a good reception I'd say is deserved. He tried his best, but took on a squad that is more suited to a different style. That said a hard fought 1 or 2 goal win for me.

The club is, after so many years of division and disinformation, in the right hands and the team is gaining both in confidence and application. Just wish we had an out and out striker but still very happy with today's performance. At last we seem to be managing games and making the opposition look frustrated and lacking in ideas ( just like we used to be in fact). COYG

Just 7000+ but felt like 20000. Home seats nearly a sell out. Only a 100 or so from Barrow. Apart from maybe a handful of teams in this division the Gillingham End will just be a white elephant. If this carries on, the Gillingham End will need development quickly. With it being the home support. Just keep the away supporters in the Gordon Road Stand.
Great 3 points and impressive defensive unit.

Decent win, they made it tough and I did get there to watch in the end. Agree with Bonner that we made it hard, probably not enough quality when it mattered but they are a tough team. Credit to them but it was interesting how vocal Clememce was in front of us, not sure what he was up to as he was a mouse when he was with us. Probably trying to make some sort of pointless point. Didnt see much warmth from him but there you go. Thought Nevitt tried hard but he had a thankless task up on his own.

Love Bonner’s reaction. Anything other than excited and getting carried away and reminding his team there’s a lot of work to do. We still aren’t playing quite how he wants and it’s exciting he thinks there’s much more to come.

At last we seem to be managing games and making the opposition look frustrated and lacking in ideas ( just like we used to be in fact). COYG SW i think Nevitt is that but hes being played up top on his own, at times he was isolated, he wasnt getting many headers, when he was, no one was running onto it...that isn't really working, Bonner probably knows it. If we want him to score 15 plus we will have to play to his strengths. Of course having Dack and Andrews will help. I agree with bonner we were not quite clicking. Barrow were partly responsible for that. Unlike when he was with us, clemence has found a way to score against teams, mostly set pieces but a weapon he didnt have with us so Barrow will do ok but defensively they are tight as youd expect. As we saw, if you dont score, your tight defence will eventually give up Ala Harrogate. Will be interesting to see how bonner mixes it up starting with Grimsby who, though, are no pushover.
