to many excuses about injuries. We was winning games at the start of the season when we did have a long injury list. There is only Dack, Andrews and Rowe that have been long term and I wonder how much say the medical team have over Kenny with signings ? When Dack was singed, the John Comper interview hinted that it was against advice but Brad G made the decision. The phisio, club doctor and sports sceintist went to Millwall pre-season.

Yeah it all looks pretty poor. I have a feeling that Brad has kicked out certain babies with the bathwater and kept other dirty water which would pretty much explain the crap going on. I've been in touch with the little club Gillingham Town recently after looking at their raison detre and think I'll go over to watch when I'm down. Itll be more honest and enjoyable. I have a NOW pass so i can watch Gills but my heart isnt in it, i thought after Brad it would be but we re being let down.

But it happened in at least one instance when Brad came in. If we dont have the ability to compete at league one level then just say so, then we know where we re going and what to expect. Do you know you cant even contact the club atm, its utterly unprofessional and doesnt augur well. If thats what people want so be it. At what point did we sign a proven league one goalscorer when Brad came in?

Oh it gets silly. I'm not necessarily talking about a goalscorer, we did sign at least 2 midfielders from the league above a and we ve chased apparently goal scorers above us but been frightened off by the price. If you want to progress you need those type of players. Weve tried to do it on the cheap. Look at those who went up last year, equipped, even Crawley. If you re happy Hess, be happy, there are some on here and on other sites who are far from happy. No problem mate. I'm not happy with more than one thing, the club not answering me is one of them.

A title winning or even promotion squad is rarely built overnight, even when we had Pulis there were some strong elements in the existing squad. I believe we have made an excellent acquisition in Little, Rowe should be good and if we can get the ball to nolan in the right places then he can do some damage. Half of our defence is good, but needs massive strengthening. Clarke, Gbode, Wyllie and wakeling are prospects and Nevitt isn't fully fit. We tried to move lapslie on and he is one of our better player(says a lot), and if dieng can remain fit there is a good player there. The rest can be moved on and we need to continue to add, by buying players that are going to take us up, rather than just keep us up.Last January was quite possibly one of the worst transfer windows we've had, we let two fit strikers go(Nichols in particular) and replaced them with a crock, a lightweight and non league player. Next January needs to be better, if it's not then even knocking on the doors of the playoffs will be a dream and onto manager number 4.

"The rest can be moved on". It would be nice to think so but I suspect we wouldn't get any takers if money was involved. My conclusion is that we have massively over-rated the squad that has been assembled. None of us has any real idea about the Galinsons' budget so speculating about acquisitions in January is the best we can manage. What's undeniable is that the current group of players is highly unlikely to get us promoted.

It’s not about being happy, I’m just talking about the absolute nonsense you’re writing here. Firstly, how have we “done it on the cheap” given the amount of transfer fees paid by the Galinsons since they took over and the wages paid? How do we know these wages are high? Clough told us when we nicked the Mansfield lads and we’re signing other players from league two sides when contracts expire who are in demand players. That statement is categorically incorrect. You then talk about Crawley as your example. They literally “did it on the cheap” and Lindsey worked a miracle. The same manager is now also doing brilliantly with a very expensively assembled MK Dons side. The fact Lindsey left Crawley for MK Dons though shows you the budget they have and the lack of resources Lindsey had at Crawley. So, I’m quite critical of the Galinsons for the mistakes they’ve made - Scally had influence for far too long. Backing Harris before a quick sacking was a monumental balls up. The appointment of Clemence over better candidates, such as Lindsey, was a disaster. It may be that appointing Bonner over Ainsworth or Warburton was a similar mess up. Keeping Jackett and Hess in place appears increasingly insensible. Let’s not write absolute rubbish about doing it on the cheap though. We haven’t. We’ve just done it badly with the Galinsons hopefully learning on the job and learning that football isn’t easy.

Well you ve talked about weve not done it on the cheap, but before you suggested we cant do it on the expense. So it is possible then to have players above our level? Of course it is. Yes recruitment has been poor and yes firing Harris with no idea on a replacement was also a disaster. And the club is still being run badly but i see nothing from the squad OR Bonner, and come to that the club as a whole, that gives me any real hope. Scallys gone, some things have improved, they talk the talk but actions are a long way away. No need to say nonsense, what I say is valid even though you may not agree.

The Galinson's have been a breathe of fresh air since taking over but there comes a time after the honeymoon period where they need to cut associates with those that helped or guided them through the processes.
All Gills fans know the previous chairman was a narcissistic @anker and 99% of us hate him for running the club into the ground and nosediving towards the National League a few season back, should haunt Scally, who is held in contempt by any logical thinking Gills fan how he neglected the club.
He basically raped Gillingham Football Club.
I think Brad needs to get rid of those doing the recruitment behind the scenes, their influences seems are obvious to see when you see Coleman and Ogie in our side.
We cannot afford to have any Scally mates or people associated with him at the club.

No we cant and we now have Brad making the injuries excuse which I dont buy. Meanwhile, Bonner is saying it's not confidence...so what is it then?

MB is basically going the same way as the last few managers.
The signs are clear that he does not possess the natural abilty to turn our fortunes around, when you lose to teams like Grimsby, Accrington, Newport and conceding late against 10 men Swindon..these results are a true reflection that all is not well in the camp and not just a bad run of form.
Swindon's equaliser at the death...we had 7 players in the box against their 2 ...their 2 guys were in each other's way and still scores.
Get rid of Max...the fellow is a disgrace as a captain and never a leader or talker...he is a lazy journeyman defender who has been hoodwinking the Gills over at least 7 seasons.

Look, there’s a world of difference between the Galinsons spending more money than we have for many years and going out and spending £500k or more on a single player. I agree 100% that they need to learn about running a club pretty darned quickly. They’re being very badly advised in my view.

I managed to escape my padded room to post this for you, Greyfox...cos you want to know that I am telling you the truth.
If I did not speak up you would still believe that Scally was nice person and had good intentions towards the club and fans.
I will wait for your reply then go back into my nice padded room. Lol
