Not really interested in FA Cup matches to be frank.
Bonner to use the recent Swindon draw as a calayst in the FA Cup is a joke.
There is nothing to be positive about with him underperforming as a manager and continues to play underachieving players in the faint hope they rise to the occasion.
The main culprits have all been well documented by me and others.
Playing well once in every 5-6 games gets you a guaranteed starting place in the Gills team is not going to get us promoted this season.
You couldn't call this game as a welcome distraction, if we win it's only a Cup game and if we lose, the dreadful run continues.
Bonner is on borrowed time, it's just a matter of time. He does not possess the skill or ability to manage players who have been in football longer than himself, his links in the game is no better than that of many non-league managers.
Bonner will not achieve any success above league 2 with us, If we are serious about promotion then he will have to be moved on. It's that simple.
This game can be anything in my opinion from a boring 0-0, scrappy 1-0 either way or a goal feast like a 3-2 or 4-2.
I think we will lose this game 2-0.

Once upon a time, Bruce would be walking out to a packed Prestfield hungry for an upset. What a shame it’ll be a flat atmosphere because the cup has been ruined. With a raucous crowd, I’d fancy our chances. Without, we’re going to lose

First home game I will miss this season. I’m just not interested in the FA cup. I would be happier if he put the kids out, we don’t want anymore injuries!!

Chamce for Ashby Hammond to play but I suspect he doesn't trust him and play Morris, who is our best keeper.

Lame and limp springs to mind.

Yes lame and limp and we move closer to the inevitable as yet again Bonner uses the same tactics, isolates his only striker like he did with Nevitt and lamely limps out of the match. 2 more defeats pretty certain in the next 2 weeks then it's almost over, still going for 20 something of november and bye bye out of depth bonner. Ainsworth in please, saw him tonight on tv at Northampton, then thought of Burton, Cambridge all doing better than us. Sad. It is tactics for sure, do that properly and players will show what they are and the sicknotes will return. Let's add in January and get shot of Hess and Jackett by the end of season, they're are not blameless.

Bonner does need to be moved on, the players are not playing for him and that is clear as day.
A new manager will get a reaction from this group of players for sure.
Look at Cardiff City who sacked their manager and brought a new face in.
They are a transformed side with the same group of players.
We need something new.

You two have never not wanted a manager out since this board started. You’ll be hounding the next one too. So predicable.
I look at the bench today and we have 2 keepers, a bloke we’re now told can’t play more than 10-15 mins a game because of his body, a kid, a so called striker with 5 goals in 30 odd games for us, a left back who was never as good as Malone, a lad who was non league last year, a kid yet to score for the club or assist despite the hype and J Williams who has been one of the worst signings we’ve made, given reputation and cost.
Does he bring on Williams, despite the fact he’s yet to have a good game for the club? Does he bring in Hawkins when he’ll give away foul after foul and not score? Does he play Max Clark who has been giving goals away recently and is hopeless attacking?
We’ve got nothing going forward. Harris was wildly over achieving and it gets more obvious game by game what an unreal job he was doing. Milwall won’t win tomorrow, probably, but they go 7th in the championship if they do and you muppets thought he wasn’t good enough either.

IF we d have got in Ainsworth or Lindsay likely I wouldnt want them out, I only want out those who are not performing. That is Harris, Clemence and now seemingly Bonner. When we get the right bloke and let him pick his players and we fulfill our potential as a club, I'll be happy. Dont know when that situation will arise. In a few weeks there will be no option but to sack Bonner, we can see it coming.

We have a bad habit of appointing the wrong managers most of the time, that's why we are in league two.
Only Pulis, Allen, Evans and Taylor during their stints have really made us decent.
Unfortunately, MB will be heading the same way like Pennock and Lovell.
THE EXIT DOOR !!!
At least, I'm winning on the footie bets with either team not to score. The Gills more often that not are involved in such outcomes.
The comments about Andrews being able to play 10 to 15 only per match is shambolic indication of how players were assessed by the club's staff. Rowe is another example along with Dack how poor decision making on crocked players is really hurting us.

Hess and Jackett need to be removed very soon.
I really do hope some fans bring a huge banner asking for them to leave with immediately.
To many staff and players need moving on in January. By then we could be in the bottom quarter of the division.

We don't have a BEAN COUNTER as an owner, he will do anything to get us promoted, well anything except pay off Hessy and Jackets remaining contracts, bring players from the Championship or the First Division, because everything is fine at Gillingham FC just as it is. What was today's gate for a cup match , FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND THREE.? Yeah everything is just great,we had nine shots today, two were actually on target and yes that was in the whole 90 minutes, not just the first half.Like I say everything is just hunky dory at Gillingham FC.....................NOT.
