Never really made friends did he? Always an unfriendly character and with Scally sunning himself at the time could do what he wanted and he did, 2 relegations, one promotion and when we went down, 40 points at home and 6 away with 6 miserable draws, dont know what his problem was.

He was never endearing to fans. I remember him moaning about why fans voted Simon King as player of the year rather than Simeon Jackson. Both great players but it was King's injury that meant us getting relegated in that final season. That said the home matches were stunning at times, particularly the Southampton one where we played them off the park, we were dead unlucky against Charlton away too. However that final game against Wycombe was utterly utterly abysmal
