Even if he was rubbish, its still a great shame to have to see a player retire through injury.

I agree with you Nick. It;'s still a shame that this basically honest player has lost his fight against injury. I won;t miss him not playing for the Gills but he seemed to be getting better at Dag and Rd

Whilst I thought Stuart Thurgood was a trier his enthusiasm was not met by his ability, certainly not on his showing with Gills, however wish him luck in whatever he does and sorry to see him forced out in this manner.
