Agree. I'd have loved a result, but enjoyed today's game. Good to see some talented players on show, trying to play the game the right way. They had the best players, but in doughty, Pritchard, Cody and others, we had players with a good range of passing and flair

Well said technical, thought Cody was very good today and deserved MOM. Bristol as said yesterday are a very good side and real strength in depth. Matt smith will be a real handful for every defence in this division. Thought right two went off at half time as totally ineffectual.

I think he picked up a knock against Colchester.

Subbed at half time of the Colchester game due to hamstring injury.

I think the Rainham End got it right with their chorus demanding LEAVE ONE UP THE FIELD. At times there were 19 players getting in one another's way in our penalty area. 11 Gills 8 BC leaving their goalie and two players strategically placed to send the ball back in as soon as it was partially cleared. Who is it decides to play this full on defensive game most of the time, especially at home. I don 't know about others but it does nothing for my blood pressure. In the second half when the revised lineup started going forward it raised the crowd at once but their third goal was a killer.

Totally agree with leaving one up and in my day it was always the smallest as little value defending corners and takes two opposition players away every time.

We probably should leave 2 up. Cody as a minimum but also Mcglashan when he's on. Neither offer anything defensively and could break with pace on the counter. We'd also force the opposition to leave 3 back. If we are chasing the game, we could make that 3 with Dickenson. Having those lads bursting forward would give the opposition something to worry about
