That's what my youngest kept repeating all the way home gillsjan, never mind the goals, there was a lot of cheating...He has a very strong sense of right and wrong and this was bothering him, over and over and over. It's a long drive.
I'm chuffed for the programme team. As I understand it it's pretty much done on a shoestring, that must be very satisfying recognition for them.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Leaves a bit of a quandary over what to do about the management though...Anyone know who is actually in charge? As Muppet said, I don't think Hess was in the dugout for the 2nd half and it doesn't feel like Hess' football to me. Who cares who is in charge?Frankly 3 points is all that matters started wondering if there has ever been four managers of the month for the same team in one month.Well I can dream.Frankly they all deserve credit along with the players for rolling up there sleeves and get on with the unusual order from the chairman. Can you imagine if Scally had to work in partnership with 3 others on day one.By the end of the week Gwen would be ringing the samaritans I would think. Hess himself deserves a bit of credit for helping to make it work instead of throwing his toys out of his pram many ex number twos would have done. Given Hess has run the show before makes it harder for him to share control.Guys like Lovell, Patto and Hare may not ever get a chance of the top job but working together they have at very least bought Scally some valuable time. As for today's game I enjoyed it.But I did not enjoy watching Oldham but their gamesmanship and school boy tactics made winning all the sweeter.A poor ref aloud them to get away with almost anything. The only way he had to control the game was his yellow cards.I really liked Marquis again. Please Mr Scally ring up your pals at Millwall and get him permanent Manager or no manager we need him he and Cody work well together.Other than Bayo I have seen nobody better. But unlike Bayo, Marquis to his credit is not only helping supply Cody and scoring goals he does as much defending as Keds ever did too.The side passed the ball well at times the subs were bold and once again worked. The side looked as though they enjoyed there football and at there age that tends to bring better performances. Egan and Dack (silly penalty aside) also had outstanding games.

I think today actually showed we need a manager. It's lovely to watch us playing keeganesque football, but we are horridly naive. I thought our centre backs were both excellent but we very exposed by 2 poor full backs and the team not defending as a whole. As fun as it is, we need to get organised

Ehmer looked slow and dodgy although better than Legge at his worst!!!

Hoyte, 2nd MOM? No, just no. I didn't think the fullbacks were that bad though, although a bit disappointed by Garmston after such a promising start last week.
I thought everyone looked very confused after the substitutions and Loft had to go to the bench to ask for better/more instructions after a few minutes. It's obviously much nicer to have seen them win and score some goals but agree with Hessisgod that there's a long way to go before the interim management can claim to have got things organised properly.

Sorry totally disagree about Hoyte! Loft if anyone is the one the causes me most Angst, he's certainly no leader! Enjoyed the game though onwards and upwards!!

For me midfield is the problem. I don't think Hess or Pritchard would be starting in any other League 1 team. While both have fairly good technique and passing, neither are able to impose themself enough on the game to dominate and win a midfield battle. Maybe that will come with age.

If Marquis keeps playing like this I can see Millwall recalling him..

Sorry jan and tjb but every time Hoyte got the ball in an attacking position, he checked and went backwards. Positionally, he was too narrow which caused Pritchard first half and Hess second half problems as they were often left two on one while Hoyte was tucked in marking nobody. To be honest, I can't remember the last time we had decent fullbacks. John Nutter was decent but maybe have to go back to Patto for our last decent right back

Mel Sage!
We've only got Marquis for a Month gilljan, which is a worry because in my mind it's his arrival far more than the change in management that has made the difference
