wouldn't have any issues with Bywater as no 1 keeper. If that means a wave goodbye to both Nelson & morris,so be it!!,plenty more fish in the sea!!

It probably not a reliable source about fodringham, but it was on gills for mature members on facebook. The person on there said he was told by a swindon fan who claimed to be "in the know" He said it's come out of the club in the last couple of days.

Cheers Ollybeak it would make some sense for him as a Londoner who has gone on record saying he wants to sign for a league one club.Saying that he did not feel he would get games in the championship and was not willing to drop into league two. However money talks and it is also said that Birmingham city are keeping tabs and whatever he has said money talks and I can see them paying more than us even if it was there reserve keeper spot.

Fodringham didn't look that good to me when I saw him let in three against Gills at Swindon.

It would take time to get the bitter taste out of my mouth if he did sign from them,

In fairness to him as I remember the whole Swindon side had a bad day as Gills really got at them we scored some cracking goals. Not sure if there would have been many keepers if any in our league that could have changed that result.

Personally. I would not re-sign him because I'm not a big fan of him and he has far too many clubs for my liking. I have not checked his clean sheet record, but I'm sure it's not too good. so for me I would pass on him, Morris is okay but it will be interesting who comes in.

From what you have written, have actually seen him play for us?

I personally thought Bywater was an absolute liability and I was very pleased to see the back of him.I don't believe he's good enough if we want to challenge at the top end of the table next season. His positioning and handling are questionable and he does seem to "bottle it" against the more aggressive forwards.Better out there for less money I feel.

Fully agree tk69
There are much better keepers around than bywater for sure and if Doncaster didn't sign him up recently, that tell me a story. I don't think he is for us, if we are looking for promotion or playoffs next season.
