So Lovell thinks we deserved it - fact is we didn't. But I'll take it - a win is a win however you sneak it. Really can't understand when 2 of you're midfielders are being singularly ineffective (Parrett & burke) - or more to the point a liability, it takes the best part of the match to have passed before replacing them. Still onward and upward- let's hope for a bit more fortune on Tues

Very impressed with BBC report ๐ Reillyโs inswinging corner with no doubt his only good foot his left earned him an assist for the goal. Sorry Luke you did not even get credit for that but I presume itโs a pity the ref did not mistake you when you failed to take the corner at the other side which you got booked for ๐

As always, as a true fan, and as Lovell seems to be staying and he s charged with keeping us up, probably by the skin of his teeth, very pleased with the win but still unconvinced about the future. So you admit you and swans were wrong? ๐ Well have a think about it Dazza, wrong about what? I'm sure Swans will speak for himself, as for me...it's clear Lovell bought badly, it's clear he loused up with his purchases being partly put right by loans now. It's clear he played players out of position ie Ogilvie, and it's clear his gung ho tactics have been wrong. It's clear he struck lucky by Zakuani being unavailable and being left with no option other than putting Max alongside Ogilvie which seems to have accidentally worked. It's clear even one or two of his loan signings are not good enough. It's clear we may still go down and if we stay up it will be by the skin of our teeth. So, no on those points we re not wrong. I don't want to do this every season and we don't have to with the right personnel. I believe we should have got Evans in with a load of new personnel weeks ago to get us up the table and give us some kind of future. Lovell, however much he MAY have learned, is not the future and I hope Evans comes in in the summer.

Donut...I back up your comments totally.
Lovell is not the way forward, he lacks the kind of personality to lead a team, he is not a leader of men, like Evans. We need a strong underwater manager with a the taste for success. He should see this season out with us and pass on the reigns to Evans to make us a formidable team for next season in league one.

I've not heard anything good about Saturday's performance, I was at my Brothers 50th so couldn't make the game, was it as bad as I've heard?
Of course, at this stage of the season it is all about survival so as long as we get the points in the bag that is the most important thing.

Manc, poor game but conditions were awful to play footy in. I think we just shaded it and good point was defensively we were very sound with Ogilvie my MOM. Not losing was the teams goal and 3 points for the win was great.
