Did the game start late? 16 minutes left and it's already right at 4.40. I know there is some injury time but this seems a bit much. Even the trains don't run on time anymore and now this? UTG

I remember that you could set your watch by the tele-type machine rattling out the results on the TV beginning at 4.40. By 4.45 you had most of the scores in. True that was the 60's and 70's but now it seems you have to wait till 5.00 to get the results. Excellent win for the Gills today. Great start and that itself will provide some motivation to players and fans alike.

really decent victory against difficult opponents, we should have kept a clean sheet up there, my mate reckons lawrence is a weak link at the back for us and i agree too, he was very poor towards end of the season, he should had headed that ball away from the box, his mistake led to the goal.
i don't want to take anything away from our victory because i believe we are a decent outfit in this division and probably promotion bound, but make my words lawrence is a passenger in my eyes, i wasn't wrong about stimson, gowling, and julian,
i hope hessie moves on dennis oli, stefan payne and matt lawrence and then i think its automatic, mark my words.
up the gills!!!!

Twoddle. Lawrence was close to poty last season and has done very well in the 2 games I've seen this (couldn't make Crewe). For me, he was better than Frampton against Brighton. Why do the boo boys always need someone to target?

because certain gills fans expect us to have 20 amazing brilliant players week in week out, thats of course why we are in league 2 and not the prem.

I think you'll find every club, Premiership downwards has plenty of fans who will knock someone in the side or the manager or the formation or the disciline or the pies or the toilets or the parking or the price of tickets or the new kit or ... well you get the idea.
For me as a simple soul 2 games maximum points I'm happy.
Try and hold back until we lose (or only draw at home) and then really let rip.
