Just seen tonights Gills result yet another poor away scoreline! After Saturday I was starting to feel positive but a 3-1 away defeat to Stevenage is extremely worrying we are certainly not safe from relegation yet! I wonder how well our central defence played tonight?

Was going to drive from Swansea to the game, thank god, in South Wales !!
When are we going to learn to defend ?? We are terrible at the back, even without Barrett who should have been dropped ages ago. We bring in borrowdale and the fella is not even fit to play. Taylor must deals with the alarming way we concede goals so easily and westleys teams are renown for energy and with them being bottom, tonight was a good chance to build on Saturdays good win ( apart from last 20 mins ) . Still think Luke freeman is decent, love to have him back at club.
Consistence is needed, I don't think we are going to be in a relegation dogfight, but it's frustrating that we are so in and out, drop donkey Martin please. Barrett was dropped and please do the rightful selection for next game minus these too and u soon see a improvement.

I notice Harriman was also dropped last night,WHY? ??, Was Linganzi injured again??? Taylor seems to show one game he knows what he is doing then to quote a character from my youth he turns into "Proffessor Brainstorm" for the next!! Thats why Taylor has never really cut it as a manager!!

Some people make me laugh they really do, we had 10 men for 65 min the game was 0-0 before that, we are 12th is no one happy with 12th cause if your not then you should be supporting someone like man city cause gills will not win every week. Where were all you guys on here when we was winning and climbing the table??? But as soon as we lose you are on here that is not how a supporter should be, no we are not safe yet but we got promoted last season so why do we have the right to be safe after 30 games. Let's just get behind the gills rather than focusing on the negatives all the time!!!

I don't disagree but if you look at any other teams supporters web sites they are all the same. As soon as their team loses there are negative comments. Gills supporters are the same. If you look at the numbers of supporters who attend away matches there are many teams out there that would like that type of support. Gills supporters are brilliant COYG

Lets remind you every one is entitled to a opinion and after 40 years of following the Gills I am entitled to mine,Stevenage are a basically a pub team sort of club and it frustrates me when we lose to them!! It also frustrates me to see the likes of Crawley in the league with a poor fan base and only supported by rich benefactors,no history !! Oops bring it on !
Finally tell ne dazza23 do you think it was a good idea to drop Harriman!!

The Gills are very lucky in the away support they have,up and around a thousand travelling fans is about the norm. Last night once we were down to 10 men it was always going to be an uphill struggle. There were times when we played some decent football, but these times were far too few.It was disappointing because I,and I suspect the majority of supporters expected the Gills to at least get a point in a game with a team in the depths of the league.

Let me remind you we lost to Stevenage!!! No we are not rubbish as we have proved that in recent games but I do question our character in the majority of away games!! Lets hope Linganzi abd Harriman are back against Carlilse on Saturday!!

Having watched the game I and others were left shaking our heads at Why????Why pick that side ??Why leave Harriman on the bench till half time when it was clear we needed a right back???Taylor and the side have done well in the last few weeks but last night everything seemed wrong. It did not help our chances that we were landed with one of the countries worse refs.Although sure it was a penalty.Bradley Dack once again looked good and Cody should have scored at least one if not two more last night.Stevenage were not that bad up front but at the back we could and should have done better they were there to be beaten or at least got a point.I just could not understand the reason for so many changes and I am sure last night team choices did nothing to help our young players who will no doubt be blamed for last night. But for me the blame for losing is with Taylor. No leadership having to hunt around the side for the armband.Nelson captain really???Sorry I am happy to back the team and the manager and have always done so, but last night left me in sad disbelief.

So terry did Peter Taylor tell you personally he dropped Harriman, cause on Tuesday morning Harriman was a doubt in the sun paper after picking up a head injury in training on the Monday, so is there something you no that no one else does?? And everyone is entitled to thier opinion of course they are but where are there opinions when we are winning and playing well. And for Stevenage being a pub team, you don't get in this league through all the divisions they have gone through if your a pub team. And they have also beat Doncaster this season and Doncaster won this league last season

The problem is we never know what goes on behind the scenes. Who's not up to fitness levels who's taken a knock and who needs to be rested we only see what we see. None of us likes to see the team lose and when they do it brings out all the negative comments. This is what this site is for to debate any subject connected with the Gills. When The Devils Advocate gets involved it creates discussion.

I had a feeling we'd lose to Stevenage and said so on here after the weekend. The aim this season is to stay up, which I'm confident we will. In the summer, Taylor can bring depth and quality into the squad and we can judge him then. Let's be fair, he's done very well since taking the job

I think he has done a reasonable job we are at least playing like a team albeit not succeeding in every match. I agree the main thing this year is to stay up.
