While I am not about to switch to a season ticket which was on of these safe standing areas(should Gills ever make it available.)Mainly because back pain would get the better of me too often.I would be happy to give it a go at away games. I do feel safe standing areas should be seriously looked at.I do think we can learn from other parts of Europe where they do have a better a safe match day experience.Well done for giving Mr Scally the facts these new safe standing areas do look safer than seated areas for fans who wish to stand for large parts of the game.It will add to the noise in the stadium's around the country which should see a increase in crowd levels as more people enjoy there match day experience.

As previously stated there is room for both seating and standing in the game today. I have grown used to seating now and due to my back injury also could not go back to standing, but no reason why is shouldn't be made available. Obviously, subject to clubs not stitching seated supporters up with much higher ticket prices.
