I don't know if I'm correct, but there seems a complete lack of goals from midfield. I can't remember a season where nobody seems to be scoring. It could cost us if it doesn't improve.

I've mentioned before but I still think midfield play too deep this season

Unfortunately, other than whelp dale and dack we have a real lack of what I class as attacking midfielders and with whelps injured a lot , I think there lies the problems

There is a distinct lack of goals from midfield. I would keep not keep Gregory at end of this season. He lacks goals for sure and in my book he is a poor player.

But Gregory is not there to be a goalscorer - his role is to play the deepest of the midfielders. Presumably we should get rid of Weston, Linganzi and Hessenthaler who have an equally poor goalscoring record this season.

I am not a great fan of Gregory and having said that I nor am I of Weston but they are not the strikers and they should be doing a better job in midfield.

I must be in the minority as I think Gregory has come on leaps and bounds in last 2/3 months and has looked a reasonable player. Weston on the other hand continues to go backwards. Out of all our midfielders I would expect Gregory to score thee least goals due to the way he is told to play.

... and Weston not to score any ? Or, in fact, have any positive impact whatsoever ? I feel time is running out for him...

Agree Weston should score much more, but no composure in front if goal. That goes for most of them though

The problem with Weston is since his injury last year, he seems scared to use the pace he actually has. It is frustrating to see him every couple or match or so to actually kick the ball behind the fullback and outpace them. Nowadays, he half kicks it behind the defender and then tries to cross with the fullback still in the way.
