This coming Saturdays game is massive for the Gills and Bristol City, a win to gills puts them 9 pts clear of City, a defeat puts Bristol in the last relegation place 3 Pts behind the Gills, what worries me there are a lot of teams around us still with games in hand.
After this Saturday we could be staring a relegation battle full on. or on the other foot creating a nice cushion.
What do you think it will be after Saturdays encounter?
(lets hope its not 3 defeats in a row)

We are so unpredictable at the moment I would like to see a win but it's very hit and miss. I would like to see Cody and Bayo start this week. I see Keds is out playing again.

Agree, this game is a real crap shoot. It depends who wants it most.Going on the coach to see first hand what kind of effort and enthusiasm the Gills bring to the task at hand. Somehow I do feel we can come away with three points. Can't wait.

Tough game and I would be well pleased with a draw

It has to be 3 points!!, ok we lost 2 on the bounce, and both by just 1 nil!,certainly not any 3/4/5 nil maulings!. Has to be Cody, and for my money now Keds is fit,put him out to, 3-1 Gills. UP THE GILLS.....

Keds picked up a small injury in midweek I understand so he won't be going. Maybe worth piggott up top with Cody as the attacking midfield or other forward laying off him. Whatever, we need to ensure we hold midfield against Bristol as from memory they were quite strong in that department.

I've never seen Cody as an attacking midfielder. He uses his speed rather than any dribbling skill to get away from defenders and I can't remember him putting in any tackles of note. I think he's great as an out-and-out striker and at the moment he seems to have the best understanding with Bayo so they should both start.

I am coming in with a quick prediction. A win for the Gills 2-1 two goals from Cody Mac

A win would be nice, obviously, but I reckon a 1.1. draw. And even if we lose, let's not forget we only need 12 points to get to 50 and we'll have 12 games left to get them. I don't think it's as massive a game as some others on here seem to.

With you on that mistert, there are still plenty of games, but is important we dont lose too many points to other teams in the relegation battle. 1 - 1 for me too, with Bayo scoring and that will do us nicely.

I thnk every game is a massive game they should all be treated with the same determination to achieve the best score possible.

If wishes were horses ...
What we want doesn't come into it, I'm afraid. I hope we're 5.0 up at half time.

I'm going back to predicting a loss as seemed to give us luck. On that basis we are going to lose 3-1 next week.

I Only quoted a "massive game",as we could of had a 9pt gap between us and Bristol City. have you seen the table after the defeat, bearing in mind there are a lot of teams with games in hand around us.
Don't get me wrong i feel we will stay up but it will be closer than people think.and will go all the way in my opinion.
