Coming back on the coach from Bristol this passed through my mind.
O is'nt it Grand, To sit in the Stands, On a seat with no back, To take up the slack.
The Reds did score twice, The Gills but once, The same old story, That brings no glory.
So back on the coach, A miserable lot, But Saturday comes soon, So to Priestfield we'll trot.
Come on you Blues.

I've thought for a while now that are league position looks much better than it really is.Not cause for concern yet,but could become precarious if we don't get three points Saturday.

We have been in a relegation battle since match one regardless of our league position. Where I disagree is with those who keep saying (not specifically on here) that we are in a deep relegation battle - if we were already in the bottom four playing catch up then fair enough, but things are still very much in our hands,

The one aim this season was to stay up, under Martin Allen we were among the favourites to go down, now we are among the outsiders, an improvement. but not much. Staying up is everything this season, in the summer PT will be able to change most of the squad for something close to what he believes will finish closer to, if not in a play off position. It took Tony Pulis three seasons to reach the play offs, so at the moment it does not look too bad, 20th will do.

Perhaps the time is right for a word of thanks to the ground staff who have managed to keep our pitch playable despite the abominable weather we have had, not one postponement, not bad.

What worries me is the gap is now just 3pts,when you consider the gap we had just 3 games ago and others around us hitting the form button for me at the wrong time. We now have 2 home games coming up,(must win games for me)as we have some tough away games to play.
Taylor needs a settled team and fast.

Here here dc83 the grounds have been kept very well considering the massive weather problems we have had this year. Well done to all involved.
