It looks more and more likely that our home form will keep us up this season, there has been far to many games where we been unable to hold out for a win or draw. That's 12 defeats on the road now, and what really frustrates me is that we are so poor defensively and have not managed to rectify this. Wholesale changes defensively for next season and in the midfield will be paramount.
For now, I want this season to pass quickly and it hasn't been one I want to remember for too long.
Up the gills !!

Trouble is we have not down that well at home? I think swansgill means that we are to be more reliant over these home games, rather than the away ones. Although we have 6 more home games, and 7 more away games I think it is, we are more likely to get results at home, mainly because in our next home games we have only one top 6 team, who is Rotherham, and we've shown our desire and spirit at home even to the bigger and performing clubs, as well as the in form ones when at home

Of course home form is important but its about time all you individuals who that think Taylor is doing a good job to take stock, the man is not up to the task and he is going to take us down! Scally will be happy reaping in the money for bumper crowds for the likes of Pompey,Luton and Plymouth next season, near top of Div 2 or near the bottom of Div 1 what do you think our Chairman prefers! Yes I am peed off and I am certainly not renewing my season ticket next season!!!!

And I have just looked at the line up and he put Fffing Weston on again the man does nothing to warrant his inclusion in the squad let alone a place on the bench! Can someone ask Taylor what has young Hess done wrong our performances started to pick up with him in the team,Connor Smith what has he done, sweet nothing! Good manager you are having a laugh!

i have just looked at our remaining fixtures, here they are, as follow:
march h crawley april h rotherham may h shrewsbury h coventry a peterboro a bradford a orient h crewe h tranmere a mk dons a walsall a preston
its vitally important we at least pick up a win from either the crawley or coventry game which would give us the belief going into the remaining 3 fixtures in march against bradford, crewe and mk dons.
april will be our toughest month because we will be playing 5 teams going for promotion, play-offs and tranmere who will be in a relegation dogfight probably too.
we cannot afford to have a poor march, it could be disastrous because defensively we struggle and nothing has changed since martin allen exited, we brought in loads of loan players, some have work and others not, but we need to have continuity in our team which is clearly lacking because we keep change our team every other week, cody cannot be rested again, bayo needs to play every game because between the two of them they will cause trouble to the best defences in this division, but sadly our midfield doesn't have goals in them, lee and gregory are poor and definitely lack character and rarely changed a game, dack is half decent and smith maybe if he played more games, defensively a shabbles, only harriman comes out with any credit and hewitt too, the others barrett, legge and martin have been the achilles heel and main reason we continue to struggle.

We play the wrong formation away from home. It needs to be 4-5-1 as our midfield and defence can't play a holding game with 4 in midfield and to be honest we all know that collectively they ain't good enough. I would personally then look to play keds up front on his own as he gives you what you need in the constant running etc. playing him that way was how he performed so well earlier in the season. Not saying that should be the way we play at home at I would always start Cody and bayo or piggott there.

What the team lacks is consistency which now goes back over a year. PT is tinkering far too much. He must decide what his best 11 is and give them a chance to play together for the next few games, except that this should have happened at the beginning of January. We also seem to have been unlucky in key players picking up annoying injuries just as they were running into some sort of form.

Totally agree swingfield. The team won't be consistent when 6 players are getting changed
