Looks like our rivals have taken advantage of those games in hand with another win. Pushed on above us now. Anybody care to comment on them? Well managed? Good squad? I hear their ground is poor but they are doing something right it seems. This is a website about The Gills I know but we should be keeping an eye on our competitors especially as they are recent League arrivals. Comments, observations, questions....

They were always going to pull clear. Very good squad and a good amount of financial backing from upstairs. Forget them in the relegation battle unless they get a large number of long term injuries.

Agree there muppet, always on the cards, only thing against them was the number of fixtures think it was 2 a week from 1st March to end of season but as you say barring injuries look to be on their way.

Yes, I agree with Muppet too, they've spent loads of money over the last 2/3 years and John Gregory has a better pedigree than most managers in this league - Josh Simpson credits him with "re-energising the side" and there's certainly being a big shift in results since his appointment. I'm guessing he didn't come cheap either.
They were never going to be relegated and could well be in the play-offs. With money on their side, I'm not sure the fixture back-log will be a huge issue for them
