poor excuse for a inept performance, this has been a regular feature throughout this campaign, we have been carrying to many players going into each game, barrett is consistently slow and poor, same applies to legge, midfield lacks any ideas and gregory plays far too many square passes and when he plays i get frustrated because he is such a poor player for us.
taylor has done a reasonable job, but the amount of goals we concede tells me maybe he might not b the man to take us forward. i want us to have the energy and goals like orient and brentford.

you sort of answer you own points there. Don't disagree the defence in General has been poor, but as previously said on this site the midfield hadn't helped their cause in anyway by going AWOL on a number of occasions. You always pick on Gregory, but over the past two months he has been one of our better players, it's only a lot of the good work he does goes unnoticed; I have lost count of the number of interceptions he has made. As with. Dot defensive midfielders a good percentage of his passes will be square passes. We are never going to, with the present squad, be able to play like Brentwood or orient. They have better all round quality and have been in this division for some time. Time will tell if we can compete with the likes of them, but give it a chance. On one hand you blame the defence and then say Taylor possibly not the man because we concede too many goals. He can only put out what he inherited and I think the majority agree we haven't got great defenders, so not sure you can hold that against him.
