Recalled by Charlton, another waste of a loan me thinks.

Didn't set the world alight. Not sorry to see him go. Wonder who will partner Cody though after Bayo played 90 Saturday?

Totally agree Hessisgod did not impress me at all. I wonder if Keds might be back shortly?

Didn't really see enough of him to make an informed decision, but felt to slow and one dimensional. Keds apparently at least 10 days away so birchall above German for me after the bayo 60 mins or so

I would love to see Birchall given a shout As long as the defence don't just hoof high balls to him.

hmmm, maybe don't start legge or barrette then, I feel a bit for Birchall considering he can also play on the wing, especially when Weston constantly gets in the side, Birchall isn't a bad crosser or finisher

Worth a shout if we play 5 across the middle, and against mk that would be my favoured line 4-5-1

Pigott came to us with the reputation of being an "in the box finisher"... We play him as a target man to nod the ball on and act all surprised when he struggles...

Good point johnknee, but suppose we weren't going to change our whole way of playing for one man.

I am amazed how many times we place a player in a position other than his best

That's the problem when your squad isn't good enough. Instead of playing the way we should/to our strengths, we seem the majority of times, having to set up our team to counteract there's meaning our players can't play their natural game or position. Hopefully, with a better squad we can then play our way and to our players strengths and leave the opposition to counteract us and have the same problem.
