I agree with you statothebblue and I personally hate it when the team or players are booed on the pitch. There have been a number of instances where young players have been critacized heavily after having a bad day ( everyone has them even the most experienced of players ) confidence levels are affected which in tern affects their performances. Let this team find their feet before we all start having a go at them.

Our support should be there whatever, especially positive vocal comments and cheering will make a big difference.

For all of the "Taylor has brought in youth" he hasn't focused solely on it. Morris and Morris are experienced enough campainers. McGleshan is an experienced player as is Loft. It is only Egan, Norris and Hause (I am sure I missed someone out) that are newly acquired youth. Dack has played enough games (50 or so) not to be dismissed as a youngster learning the game like Egan etc could be. And Hess Jr has been used sensibly to give him experience. It was only really Egan, Hause and Hess who started the match who could be said to be inexperinced youth - the rest were established players... Add Dickenson and Pritchard to that list plus we look like using more young players in the squad and team more regular.IE Hess,Dack,Hare etc.

Also need to consider the experience of the players who left. It's certainly a more youthful squad than we have seen for some time

I've seen a lot of people call for him to be unleashed - seemingly on the strength of a couple of semi-decent performances preseason. I've also seen several people comment that this is the youngest squad (in terms of average age) for a long time, but Taylor has never been one to chuck in a load of youngsters together. In his starting team, 8 players were experienced campaigners and I would generally expect Taylor to use a similar number most matches. I would expect Hess and Dack to rotate a bit in terms of starting and only see Dickenson starting when we have a Morris - Loft type experienced pairing in the middle etc. Clearly all the youngsters we did buy aren't all going to hit the ground running and I would expect Taylor to ease them in gradually.

You tempted fate there johnknee! I expect 2/3 max youngsters per game, unless they really impress and then I guess he will have to go with them.

By proper match I meant in a competitive league match on a regular basis, rather than in a cup match.

I wasn't at Yeovil but it appears Hare did OK last night given our defence clearly needs at least one new comer.Granted Taylor may ask Hare to wait a while. But you are wrong to rule out Hare this season. I have seen him on quite a few occasions over the years and he may well give Fish and others a run for his money.Josh has had a few unlucky injuries over the years which may have held him back a bit.But don't rule him out making it this season.Very few youth lads are total certs to step up.Josh for me has as much about him as Jake did before last season.Jake proved many wrong I must include myself as I had doubts a year or so back.
Jake proved most of us wrong, Josh for me can do the same.

I have only seen hare a few times in friendlies, but he has always appeared pretty competent. Until he us given the nod for a league game we won't know if he can cut it, but I think he is worth a shot and Saturday would appear to be a good place to start.
