On 22 minutes, slightly against the run of play Gills, scored through Brennan Dickenson who persevered in chasing the ball and following a terrible mix up between Yeovil goalie Artur Krysiak and and full-back Aaron Martin the Gills striker slotted home the first goal on his first team debut.

I am right in saying we are playing 3 at the back with wing backs?
Who is playing the central roll?

Second period starts and scorer Dickenson subbed by Peter Taylor because of a heavy first half knock and Antonio German is into the fray.
Martin playing as wing back but pretty fluid with Dack (although he is quiet at the moment)

YEOVIL 1 v GILLS 2 -Referee has a dodgy watch giving four minutes of stoppage time but eventually a great Cup win and hope Gills can beat Yeovil in League One at Priestfield on Saturday

Well done the lads I had a feeling we would win tonight. I was not as down as usual after Gills defeat on Saturday as I feel a dodgy referee and a bad helping of lady luck conspired against us on Saturday! Here's to a win Saturday although I will miss it due to my hold, let hope Pete Taylor gets a new right back before Saturday!

Great result and a big well done to the team and staff. Into the 2nd rd of the cup that's unusual. Also as above well done to you supporters who made the long trip.

Seem to remember reading that prior to this match it was ten years since a first round win. Well done the GILLS.
