Would have thought franchise vs utd would be first pick, with us second looking at that draw

It brings back memories of that great day at Roker park. For anyone not lucky enough to be there the day Tony Cascarino sent Sunderland down and us through to the play off final. One of the highlights for me was to see around a thousand Newcastle Utd fans cheering us on.They left the police totally perplexed as to what to do.I know we have played Newcastle since then but I don't think I made it to that game. I wonder if any of the Newcastle fans still have fond memories of cheering on the Gills.

What a great draw. Would like to see a full house, like the time we played Stoke City. Priestfield was jumping that day, especially as the Gills went 1-0 up. Unfortunately from then on it went down hill to a disappointing 3-1 loss. Let's hope the Gills can turn on the style this time and give Newcastle a turning over.

It's interesting as Premiership teams are not keen on playing at stadiums like Priestfields as it's a tight ground with the supporters being very clòse. No doubt my friends in the Rainham End will make sure they know who's ground they are at!
