What a great win. All praise for the effort. Makes a change for us to WIN after 90 minutes. Up the league as well.

I thought McGlasham had a better game than usual. When we first signed him it was said he either had games of brilliance or disaster I think that may well be true.

Dear me gillsjan were we watching the same game I was also in the Gordon road and the derision around me when Pritchard was subbed was extremely loud! Just goes to show football is a game of differing opinions!

Did you think Pritchard had a good game?

What I liked about Pritchard was that he wasn't frightened to put his foot in he tried to break up the play something we have seriously been lacking, distribution maybe not the best but he was biting away to break up their tempo! Loft was poor until the latter part of the game he to me is either not tenacious enough or over tenacious on the borders of foolhardy! A player that impressed me today was young Marquis he looked a good team player not a out and out goalscorer to me he was my man of the match, scored one made Mcglashans goal not sure if it was him who passed to Mcglashan for our extremely dodgy penalty but who cares regarding that one,Man City beat us in the Playoff final due to poor official timekeeping so that's a little payback from the officials!

It does amaze me how we all see a different game. I agree with gillsjan that both sides were very poor, although we had enough chances in the first 30 mins to have sewn it up by then, if only we could convert them. Both sides looked nervous to me and too many in our midfield looked like they'd rather have nothing to do with the ball.
MOM by a country mile for me was new no 9, from Millwall (?) whose name escapes me - lots of our players could learn something from him about work rate but not just headless running a decent player too. Scored one, made another and started the move for the other. Still far too much standing around off the ball from most of our youngsters (except Dack, who is a headless chicken at times). I thought Garmston was excellent too, not sure why he was subbed.
I wouldn't have taken Pritchard off, I thought he was OK, but the midfield definitely needed changing. Don't know why Hess seems to get an automatic place. Was right to introduce some width but I thought moving Loft back to where he belongs made the real difference. Terry, he was poor until after the subs but that was because he was playing out of position.
Jackson was terrible, thank goodness. Carrying a bit of weight, I think.
But, what a relief and what a great atmosphere at the end.

If you take the last 10 minutes away and the scoreline could have been a draw people's interpretation of the game may have been different. During the last 10 minutes on went the rose coloured specs. We were fortunate to have a reasonable crowd today made up by a good number of Coventry supporters who probably had a miserable trip home.

They had some pretty spectacular coaches Gillsjan, chased me round the M25! Honestly never seen coaches move like it.

No rose coloured spectacles from me even at one nil down I thought a good managerial appointment will keep us up! Coventry were poor at the back and were lucky to concede only three! I am just enjoying going to Gills games without the negativity of Peter Taylor putting the brakes on procedures!

No, now we just have our most experienced player playing in completely the wrong place and the crucial substitutions left far too late, if it weren't for a terrible refereeing decision.

It seems to me that certain people were only happy on this board when we losing matches under negative Taylor!!

Don't talk rubbish this has nothing to do with Peter Taylor this was my view of today's match absolutely nothing else. As I said before I felt both teams were very poor and unless we improved our game we would not be going anywhere fast. Don't try and read into people's comments something that is not there. As far as I am concerned the business with peter Taylor is finished and I am looking forward to a new Manager hopefully one that the fans are going to approve of and support.
